Always together

It was night and Claude told me a few hours ago that I should come out to the balcony because he wants to tell me something important, so I went there.
When I was there I already saw him as he looked into the distance in his thoughts sunk.  I walked over to him and nudged him by his shoulder.
He turned and smiled at me.
"There you are".  "You wanted to tell me something important Claude?"  I asked him.
"Yes, after the war I realized that we now have more time to explore the world and I want to do it with you, you've been with me all along since the beginning when we met and helped me finish the war  and I'm very grateful to you, you always help me when I'm stuck and I wanted to ask you if you want to marry me? "  he said as he pulled out a ring and held it in front of me.  Tears came slowly out of me when he asked me if I wanted to marry him.  "Claude ... of course I want to marry you."  I said to him, laughing.
He took the ring and put his finger on me.  He picked me up and we looked at each other.  "I love you."  "I love you too."  We each leaned against the other and kissed each other.
And right from the moment the sun came up behind us to greet the morning of the new day.
