Seeing Mia again was such good news! Our squad is finally completed again. And Kirsten came back better than ever! Fuck a clown named Nick for making her leave in the first place. It felt so good to have all of us reunited again.
We said our goodbyes and I decided to have some time for myself after that whole encounter. I definitely needed some me time, i've been getting barely any rest with practice and the whole group situation. Even though we just brought the trophy home from the championships, nationals are on the way, and our team is not going down without a fight. Brandon actually showed up to the meet, it was so sweet of him! And he came in clutch with all the pictures, I owe him one.
Brandon has been so sweet to me this whole time we've known each other, and I actually might have started to like him, but what if he hurts me like my ex did? She really left a broken heart in me lol.
Enough talking about my love life, today was a day for me to take some time off and relax before coach puts us back in grind mode.
I decide to go to Jamba Juice and then to a little café to get something to eat. As I pull up to Jamba Juice, I see Brandon.
"Really?!" I thought to myself. How is it that he's always wherever I go?
I walk in and he immediately sees me. I pretend to not see him but then he calls out my name. I decide to make my way over to him.
"Hey, what you doing around here?" I ask
"Nothing much, just decided to grab a drink, I guess I grabbed a snack too," he says with a smirk. I immediately start laughing.
"I- um ok so i'm gonna go grab my drink now." I replied
"Dang so you're just gonna leave me hanging?" He says with a pout
"Dang I guess I am." I reply back. Before I can say bye he grabs my hand and twirls me into his arms, he gives me a warm hug and tells me, "how about we talk for a while pleaseeeeee."
"Sorry but I have places to be." I say while walking towards the counter. I grab my drink and just wave at him and go to my car. He looks at me with a sad face and I just giggle, he looks so cute when he does thatv.
I pull up to the café to grab something to eat. I get a sandwich and some fries and go to the corner and eat. And just on queue, I get a text from B.

I get up and throw away my trash and start walking to the exit. I was scrolling through instagram through my tagged pictures. Everyone was so quick to spread that picture of B and me walking around town the other day, damn. I wasn't looking so I bump into someone and say sorry. I don't look up and kept walking towards my car when I hear someone behind me say "So you're just gonna bump into me and not say hi?" I feel my heart start beating faster, that sweet but devilish voice. I turned around and there she was. Jackie Alvarez, my ex.
