(Y/n)'s pov (15 years old)

My dad has never let me go to school, till today that is. I'm so excited! I think dad just signed me up for school to get rid of me for a while though...its fine because I might make friends! I've never had a friend.

Once I got to school I realized how big the building was. I went inside trying to find the principal's office "where is it" I mumbled to myself out loud "hey New kid, are you talking to yourself?" Someone said "i- no I wasn't" I said back "has anyone ever told you not to talk back?!" They said making me remember what my dad had said after my mom had left me. " my father..." I said just loud enough for them to hear me "what?" They responded "my father told me not to talk back after my mom left me..." "haha you mom left you!" They laughed. It's not funny!" I yelled, they continued to laugh at me. 'I just wanted to make friends' I run off and soon make my way to the principal's office. She gives me my Schedule and I head to class to be laughed at again...I shed a tear but quickly wipe it away.

After class we had lunch. I wasn't hungry so I just sat outside by a tree, then those kids came over to me, laughed at me, beat me up then just left still laughing. I sighed. Getting up, I start to head to the nerse. Lucky me I can't feel pain. I have a rare condition called congenital analgesia meaning that I can't feel pain.

After I went to the nerse I bumped into this girl "I'm so sorry!" I say, she smiles "it's ok! Your the new girl right?" She asks. "Y-yeah" I reply "well, wanna be friends?" "Yes!! I've never had a friend before!" I yell happily "wait, really?" "Yeah" I say back. "Well I'm glad to be your first friend!" She says "by the way my name is (b/f/n)" (best friends name) "nice to meet you! I'm (Y/n)." I say "you too (Y/n)"
