First Days and First Dates

I woke up at two in the morning and felt arms wrapped around my waist. I looked over and saw Klaus. He must have stayed with me to make sure I was ok. I smile at the thought and give him a small kiss. I feel his arms wrap tighter around me but he doesn't wake up. I close my eyes again seen as I don't have to wake up until five thirty to start getting ready for school. School doesn't start until seven but Elena and I want to leave at six thirty.

At five thirty I hear my alarm go off and apparently so does Klaus. " Sorry I have to get up for school, " I say to him. " It's ok love. I'll just stay here while you get ready, " he says to me. " Ok, " I say back to him and grab my outfit. Then I go into the bathroom to take a shower. Once I get into the shower I sigh as the warm water falls on me. I use my favorite scented body wash, shampoo, and conditioner which are all raspberry coconut swirl scented. Once I'm done I dry off and get my outfit on. Then I go back into my room and put on light blue eyeshadow, mascara, and light pink lipstick. I put my hair in a high ponytail, grab my white purse and my pink side bag to put my school books in, and lastly put on my white five inch heels. " Bye Klaus. Love you, " I say to him. " Bye Bloom. Love you too, " he says back to me. I wave and head down stairs.

Once I get down there Elena is eating pancakes so I get some too. " Wow you look amazing, " she says. " So do you, " I say back. " Are you excited for tonight?, " she asks me. " Yeah I am. But what time is the dance?, " I ask her. " It's at eight. But you have somewhere to go before then, " she says smiling at the last part. " Where and with who?, " I ask her suspiciously. " Can't say. Now come on. It's six thirty and we have to leave. I told the girls to meet us by the benches outside the school. " she tells me. " Ok I'm coming, " I say getting up and walking out the door with her. We get in her car and drive off to school talking and listening to music. " So are you and Klaus together now and are you going to the dance together?, " Elena asks me as she pulls into the parking lot. " I don't know but I hope so for both those questions, " I answer her. We get out of the car and spot the girls so we walk over to them. " Hey you two. Omg Bloom you look gorgeous!" Caroline says smiling. " Aw thanks. You all look great too! " I say smiling back at them. Then we walk into the school with everyone staring at me.

We all have every class together so we all sit next to each other. Once we get to lunch the five of us sit together. Then Tyler, Stefan, and a blonde haired boy come and sit by us. " Hi I'm Matt. You're Bloom, Alaric's niece right? " Matt asks. " Nice to meet you Matt. Yeah I am Bloom, Alaric's niece. " I say to him. " Nice to meet you too. So I hear you're with Klaus. Is this true? " he asks me smirking. " Umm it's not official or anything yet. " I say blushing. " Oh I see. Not official ' yet'," Matt says air quoting ' yet'. The three boys start laughing. " Ok that's enough you three. Leave her alone. " Bonnie says. " Thanks Bonnie. " I say to her. " You're welcome. Now come on everyone. History time with Alaric. " Bonnie says smiling. " Does everyone know I'm his niece? " I ask them. " Yeah they do. "says Tyler. " Oh great. "I groan. " Hey at least this is the last class. Then we get to go home. " Stefan says. " Yeah I guess you're right. " I say and with that we walk into the classroom.

History goes by in a blur and soon enough the bell rings signaling it's time to go home. I get out of my seat and walk to my locker. I grab everything I need to take home and put it in my bag. Then I walk over to Elena and the girls. " So how was your first day? " Rebekah asks me. " Great. Except for when I got asked out five times. " I say laughing a little. " Oh my god! You did! How annoying! " Caroline says. " Yeah it was but I just said no. I already have my heart set on someone else. " I say thinking about Klaus. " Oh I think we know who you're thinking about. " says Elena. " Stop it! " I say blushing and run to Elena's car. They all laugh and follow me to her car and get in. Then Elena drives back to the house.

Once we get back, they all rush me up to my room and push me into the bathroom. Did I forget to say that my room and bathroom are connected? " Get in there and take all of that makeup off. Then get in the shower and when you come back out put on your robe. " Elena says while handing me makeup removal wipes and Rebekah hands me my light blue soft robe. " Ok. " I say and close the door and grab a wipe. Once I'm done getting my makeup off I get in the shower. I use my blueberry scented body wash and lemon scented shampoo and conditioner. I turn off the water and put my robe on. Then I step out of the bathroom and am immediately sat down in my vanity chair. " What are you all doing? " I ask them curiously and suspiciously. " Getting you ready for your date with someone who's name we can't say. " replys Caroline. " But... " I start. " Stop right there. You are going. End of further discussion. " Elena says and I shut up. Caroline straightens my hair, Elena does my makeup which consists of white eyeshadow, mascara, light pink blush, and light pink lip gloss. Bonnie does a spell to paint my nails white with pink tips and a coat of sparkles, then puts a clear coat on them and does another spell to dry them quickly, and Rebekah picks out my outfit which is a white dress with my white heels and my white purse. " Go put the dress and everything else on. Don't mess anything up. " Rebekah says looking at me and I nod my head. Once I'm done I step out and they all gasp. " You look so beautiful! " they yell and give me a hug being careful not to mess up their masterpiece. " Thanks. But it's all thanks to you guys. " I say. " Aww. " they say and smile. Then we hear the doorbell ring and go downstairs. Elena walks over and opens the door. Standing there is Klaus in a suit looking handsome. He offers me his hand and I go to take it. But before I can Rebekah hands me a white sweater. " Thanks. " I say to her and she nods her head. I then take Klaus's hand and we walk over to his car and get in. Then he drives off.

" You look gorgeous, love. " Klaus says smiling at me. " Eyes on the road mister." I say laughing when he pouts at me. " But thank you. But you should thank your sister and the other girls. They're the ones who got me ready for this date. " I say to him. " Oh I see. But after all you are the one who has to wear what they put out for you. Obviously you can pull off any outfit but still. " he says in a mysterious tone. " What's that supposed to mean? " I ask him. " Oh nothing " he says smirking. I decide to let it go for now. " So where are we going? " I ask. " It's a surprise. " he says back. " But I want to know. " I whine. " Well you'll just have to wait. " he says but I can tell he's smiling. I rest my head against the window and then all I see is black. When I wake up I'm being shook. " Bloom wake up. " Klaus says leaning over me already out of the car. " No. " I tell him still half asleep. " Oh come on. Don't you want to know where we are? " he asks me and my eyes immediately open. " Yes off course I do! " I say excitedly. " Well come on then. " he says taking my hand and leads us to where we have to go.

  I was told to close my eyes and I did. Then Klaus put his hands lightly over my eyes so I couldn't peek and see where we are. " Ok. You can open your eyes now. " he says taking his hands  away from my eyes and I immediately open my eyes. " Oh my god!  You did all this?! " I ask astonished while looking at the beautiful lake and the picnic set up under a grove  of trees. There are fairy lights hung up in the trees and lanterns on the branches. We have a perfect view of the lake. " Yes I did. Do you like it? " he asks me nervously. " Like it. I love it!  It's beautiful and perfect! " I say kissing him. " I'm glad you like it. Now come on. Let's eat. " he says pulling me down to sit on his lap. " Hey! " I say laughing. " What? " he says back. " You know I can sit by myself right? " I ask him curiously. " Yeah I know. But I like you better by me. " he says. " You're getting to cheesy for me. I think I may have to start seeing someone else. " I say to him. " You wouldn't do that. Not before I have two important questions to ask you. " he says. " And what would they be. " I ask him. " Can't say yet. Now what do you want?  I brought cucumber sandwiches, watermelon, cheddar cheese and crackers, almonds, black olives, grapes, and salad." he says. " Mmmm how about a  cucumber sandwich, watermelon, cheddar cheese and crackers, and black olives. " I say and he puts everything on a plate then hands it to me. " Ok now what would you like to drink?  I have sparkling cider and champagne. "he says. " Champagne please. " I say and he pours us both a glass. " Thanks for all this Klaus. " I say looking at him. " You're welcome love. " he says also looking at me. " Aren't you going to eat? " I ask him. " Mmm no. I'm not really hungry for anything. " he says looking at my neck. " On please. Yes you are. Go ahead and feed on me I don't mind. " I say looking at him more intensely. " Are... Are you sure? " he asks unsure. " Yes I'm sure. Go ahead. " I say and the next thing I know he's drinking my blood. I sigh as he pulls me closer to him. " Bloom you ok?" he asks pulling away from me. " Mhmm. " I mumble sleepily. " Oh God. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. " he says. " It's ok Klaus. I don't mind. " I say trying to reassure him still sleepy. " But you're so tired and I... I just shouldn't have done that. " he says looking away from me. " Hey look at me. I'm fine just tired. Don't worry. " I say  kissing him. " But... " he starts. " Seriously stop. I'm fine. Why don't you ask me those two questions. " I say. " Alright. Will you please be my girlfriend and go to the dance with me? "he asks nervous. " Oh my god yes! " I say happily and kiss him. " Hey easy there. Come on let's go back so you can change into your dress and I can change into my suit. " he says and I nod. As I start to get up my legs start to shake and I would've fallen if Klaus hadn't caught me. " Are you sure you're up to going to the dance? " he asks concerned. " Yes I'm sure. But I would feel better if you carried me. " I say smiling. " Alright come here. " he says and picks me up bridal style. Then he uses his vampire speed and puts me in the car. Then he goes around the other side and gets in. Then he starts  the car and drives away back to my new home with Elena and my uncle.

Bloom's School Outfit:  White top and white skirt with blue flowers.

Bloom's Date Outfit:  White dress with light peachy pink pattern.
