Compelled Love

Damon's Pov

  I knew it! I knew she'd get hurt when it comes to Katherine. But she just had to hang on Klaus's every  damn word. I down a nother glass of bourbon while pacing the living room of the boarding house. I hear the door open and Stefan comes in smiling like a fool. " Well brother , glad to see you're not concerned about Bloom. " I sneer at him. " What? She's fine. She's just resting and taking it easy. " he says and I scoff.  " Sure. Next you're going to tell me that I have to stop wasting my time trying to get her to go out with me. " I say but he doesn't look amused. " Actually you should. Klaus asked her to be his girlfriend the night of the dance." Stefan says and I slam my glass on the table before going to my room.

  How could she be his girlfriend? I would be much better for her than him. I have to find a way to get her to be with me. " Wow you must really be angry at someone . " a voice says from behind me. I turn around and grab Katherine by the throat, slamming her into a wall.  " What do you want? "  I growl at her. " Well I hear you have a thing for Bloom and I have a plan as to how you could get her to be with you. " she says smirking. I let go of her and she walks over to the bed sitting on it. I go stand in front of her. " Well what is it? " I demand. " Compel her. " was all she said before leaving like a ghost. I think it over and smile. That is the perfect plan.

Bloom's Pov

  I wake up to the sun shining in my eyes and groan turning over to put my face in my pillow. That's when I realize Klaus isn't here. I shoot up from bed and throw my covers off before running down stairs. When I get down there I see Klaus at the stove cooking something. I sneak up on him and jump on his back but he just stands there still cooking. " Hello love. " he says finally turning around to look at me.  " How'd you know it was me? " I ask pouting at him. " I'm a hybrid love. I can sense who's by me. "  he says smiling down at me. " That's not fair!" I whine. " Yes it is. Now eat up. I'll be right back, I have to go get something." he says walking to the door. " Ok. " I say and then he's gone. I go to the table and eat the scrambled eggs he made me. They are delicious! Once I'm done I put my plate in the sink and wash it. Then I go take a shower and put my clothes on. After that I grab my copy of Pride and Prejudice and sit on the couch reading, waiting for Klaus to come back.

Klaus's Pov

  I went back to the mansion my family owns and walked in to see Rebekah, Elijah, and Kol sitting in the living room talking. " Nik, what are you doing here? I would have thought you'd be with your little girlfriend. " Kol says smirking. " First don't call her that. Second I'll be going back to her soon. I just wanted to get something for her. " I growl at him. " Ohh looks like Nik is protective of her Bekah." Kol says laughing while looking at Rebekah who rolls her eyes.  " Leave him alone Kol. " Elijah says with authority.  " Thank you brother. Now if you will all excuse me I must go to my room. " I say and walk up the stairs to my room.

  Once I get in my room I go over to my desk and open the top drawer and take out a box with a necklace in it. I open the box and take the necklace out. Then I grab some dried out vervain and place it in the necklace. After that I put the necklace back in the box and put the top back on. I walk down stairs and out the door before Kol can ask what I have. I get back in my car and drive to Bloom's. I then get out of my car and lock it walking through the door of the house. I see Bloom sitting on the couch reading while listening to music. She doesn't even know I'm here. I smirk to myself and start trailing kisses down her neck. She tenses but then relaxes once she knows it's me. " God you scared me. I thought you were Damon. " she says with wide eyes. " Not Damon. Just me. " I say turning her around to face me.

  I take out the box with the necklace in it and turn her around so she's facing the other way. Then I take out the necklace and put it around her neck. When I'm done she looks down at the necklace in shock.

Bloom's Pov

  I look down at the necklace Klaus just put around my neck. It's beautiful. It's a heart and has his and my name engraved on the front. On the back engraved is Always and Forever the saying he has with his family. Awwww. " I love it! " I yell throwing my arms around him and kissing him. " I'm glad you like it love. " he says smiling at me.  " Now what were you reading?" he asks and I walk over to the couch picking up Pride and Prejudice, showing him the cover.  " Ah that is a good novel. " he says sitting on the couch pulling me with him.  " By the way, what's in this necklace that smells so good ? " I ask him. " It's vervain. It'll protect you from being compelled by vampires and hybrids." he says. " So I can't be compelled?" I ask. " Yes. Unless they either take it off you or you're not wearing it you can be compelled. But I'm certain that won't happen. " he says looking at me seriously. " Great. Now let's watch a movie. " I say getting the remote and signing into my Netflix account.

  We wind up watching The Conjuring and I get scared ten times. Each time I hide my face in Klaus's chest while he looks at me in concern. " Are you ok? You're shaking love. " he says pulling me closer to him. " Y... yep... j... just... p... peachy. " I say stuttering. " Let's watch something else. We're not even half way through this and you're scared to death. " he says grabbing the remote while I nod my head. He puts on  The Longest Ride and I sigh leaning into him. " By that sigh I'm guessing you like this movie. " he says and I laugh. " I love this movie. Thanks for changing to this. " I say. " You're welcome love. " he says putting his arms around me. I wind up crying when Luke and Sophia break up, when  Ruth leaves Ira, when Ruth dies, and when Ira dies. Then I cry one last time when Luke and Sophia have a happy ending together. Klaus looks at me and smiles when he sees that Luke and Sophia end up together.  " That's a great movie. " he says once it's over. " I know. I watch it all the time and still cry over that stuff. " I say. His phone then vibrates and he checks it. Then he sighs. " I hate to do this love, but Elijah needs me. " he says getting up. " It's ok. " I say also getting up. " I'll be back once I'm done with Elijah. I promise. " he says kissing me.  " I'm holding you to that promise. " I say kissing him one last time before he leaves.

  Five minutes after Klaus left I hear knock on the door and get up to answer it. Damon walks in before turning to me. " What do you want Damon? " I ask irritated. " Just to ask you a question. " he says before walking up to me. Then he sees my necklace. " Where'd you get that? " he demands. " From Klaus . Like it? " I ask smirking at him. " Sure, but I think it should be like this. " he says before pulling it off of me. " Hey! Give me that back! " I say trying to grab it from him. " Bloom and Klaus. Always and Forever. How  cute. " he says before putting it in his pocket. " Hey give me that back! " I yell. " Not until I do this. " he says before taking me by the shoulders looking into my eyes. I struggle to get out of his grip. " You will forget that you were ever in love with Klaus Mikaelson. Forget everything you ever did together. You'll remember he has an obsession with you and he always does something to be with you but you don't go with him. You love me. Understand? " he asks and I nod my head in a trance. " Good now here. As promised. " he says handing me a ruby stone necklace. " Thanks. " I say and he smirks. He then holds out his arm for me to take and I gladly do. Then we walk to the boarding house.

  After spending some time with Damon I go back home and change into my pajamas and crawl into bed closing my eyes. I eventually fall asleep.

Damon's Pov

  I had finally gotten the girl. Even though it was through compulsion. But I don't care. Tomorrow I know I'll have to deal with questions about why Bloom's with me and not with Klaus but I'll just say she had a change of heart. I smile thinking of the red headed beauty who stole my heart while falling asleep.
