The shift was over and Eunbi came back just in time for the start of her second shift. They both bid their goodbyes and you started heading over towards Hana's workplace.

The clouds were still miserable, which affected your mood. Sad and depressing. You wanted to run away so badly, away from all your problems and your family. Having two siblings was already enough, but both of them, whom you are not related to other than by name, have legitimate jobs.

Both are older than you, one female and one male, the latter being the oldest. Out of the two, he was the one who cares for you. It's funny how your surname is Hwang, yet your father married a person of the same name, Hwang.

Your step-brother is none other than Hwang Minhyun and he works in the police force, working hard to arrest people like you. In fact, he is actually the Senior Inspector of the Criminal Investigation Department, being the leader of the team. They usually deal with major crimes.

Your step-sister on the other hand, even though she does not have a high paid job compared to her brother, she still works in a famous primary school as a teacher. The school is one of the hardest to apply to and many people ask her to help their children get accepted. But she plays fair and square.

You were the outcast, the one no one wants to be. You were opposite worlds to them and the fact that their mother, who raised such successful children, would want to be a father who has a deranged child. She must really love him.

Whisking away those thoughts, you didn't realise that you arrived at Hana's workplace. Hana sees you in the distance and waves at you, but you were too caught up in your thoughts to notice. Hana calmly sighs and makes her way towards you.

Looping her arm around your left side, "Hey! What's gotten into you, huh?" she wiggles your chin.

You look at her in reassurance, "Nothing, just thinking."

"Thinking about what? Come on, we're sisters, you can't just keep secrets away from me."

"About my life."

Hana eyed you suspiciously but decided the let the topic go. "Man, I really want to move out. I can't stand my mother."

Facing Hana, you also agreed, "Me too. You know what, let's moving in together so we can pay rent cheaper!"

Hana nodded furiously, "But, how are we gonna afford a place with our salary?"

"We'll find a way, just trust me. I have faith." you let out a breath of air. Hana hesitantly nodded, she trusts you with all her heart, but with rent rising and all the good places being way out of reach, she couldn't help but worry they weren't going to find a decent place.

"Well, time to head back. I'm super tired, I had double the amount of clients today and I don't know why. See ya tomorrow?" Hana waved.

Nodding you replied, "You coming to campus tomorrow?"

Hana gave you the most shocked look you had ever seen. She rushed back over to you, as she was about to bolt home. Grabbing you right arm, she gently but roughly shook you whole. "You're going back to campus two days in a row?"

You nodded again, "I don't really have a choice. I went to my art lecture and the first thing I receive is an assignment, a group assignment."

"Ooft."

"I know right, and it's with Shownu and Minhyuk."

Hana started to grin and stare at you. You stared right back at her in confusion. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Oh, nothing. It's just you're gonna be working with two of the most gorgeous looking people on campus and you don't even care?"

Your mouth was agape, "That's all you care about? Plus I thought you had a crush on Wonho?" Hana blushed after mentioning the man's name, cheeks becoming a subtle shade of red. "Sh-shut up."

"Stop blushing then." you chuckled, pointing towards her cheeks. Hana swiped your hand away and actually decided to go home now. She waved you off away, only to slyly whip out the middle finger to you and you gladly returned the favour.

As you were walking to your so-called home, it was getting quite dark, to the point where you almost couldn't see anything in front of you. Not wanting to take public transport or walk the long way, you took the short cut.

The short cut which basically cut 2 whole streets off from the walk back, the alleyway. You weren't scared, why would you be? You've practically seen worst shit out there, being apart of the drug life. Halfway throughout the walk, you heard some voices, all men.

If it was a drug meeting or black market exchange, you definitely did not want to see or be seen. You only took drugs supplied by Jungkook, where he gets the shit, you did not want to know the full details.

You were going to back off until the voices started growing louder and it seems as if they were coming towards your direction. You didn't care and just started running away, but also trying to stay as quiet as possible.

Suddenly, a hand grabs your wrist and pulls you towards them. You were going to scream, but the person's hand beat you to it and covered your mouth, leaving it there until the coast was clear.

Even though it was a stranger, something about the person made you feel warmth, a sense of comfort. It was like you knew the stranger who technically is holding you hostage at this point. After a moment of silence, the hand was finally off your mouth and the first thing you do is turn around to see the mysterious person.

"It's you?"
