As I watching Ecâf singing in the recording booth I remember that RCA recently signed a new artist and I'm guessing that it's her. I'm watching her sing in awe because she truly has an amazing voice. As she finishes up her song she exits the booth and heads towards me to apologizes once more for using some of my studio time and says "The studio is all yours." As she packing up her stuff to leave she looks up towards me and says " How rude of me, what's your name ?"
I answered her question, and to be honest it's kind of a relief that she didn't know who I was. My phone rang and it's my sound engineer saying that the traffic where he is at is pretty bad and that he is going to get there in thirty minutes to an hour, which is great because now I will be working in the studio for even a shorter amount of time. :/
Since I have free time on my hands, I took the opportunity to get to know Ecâf. As she was about to leave I asked her If she was going anywhere important she said "not really" and I told her to tell me about herself. She looked at me confused and said:" Don't you need to be working in the studio?" I smirked and told her my situation and after she sat next to me on the couch and told me a little about herself.
As she was telling her life story, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was and how passionate she was when she talks. When she stopped talking, I guess she notice that I was mesmerized with her face which caused her to say "Were you even paying attention to me?" I said of course I was and she squinted her eyes at me and says "mmh since you know a little bit about me, tell me a little bit about yourself ". I tell her a little bit about myself and after Im finished talking we had locked eyes for a good minute and half until she broke it. Awkwardness fills the room but I broke it by asking her If I could hear a little bit of her song. She heads to the sound board to play it and told me it wasn't fully edited yet and feel free to give and constructive criticism.
She played half of her song and overall It was pretty good and it has a nice beat to it. I asked her what's the title of the song and she tells me she doesn't know yet. I told her to replay it again so I can help her come up with a title for the song. When the song was finished I told her "What about if you name it Pictures?" . . . . Hey Guys, how are you liking the book so far?
