We begin to stroll towards our parents who are stood talking about probably something boring like rent.
"Hey Jessica, how was your week?"
"Hi Sarah. I'm been okay thanks and you?"
" It's been great thanks." Nathan's mam smiles at me.
" Nathan told us you got the best grade in your class " Nathan's dad, Tim asks more as a statement. And I nod confirming, knowing that they already know that I got an A on my biology paper.
I grab my 5 century styled sword off my bag and grab the shield crested with 2 golden dragons on a green back. Sheathing my sword to my belt ,me and Nathan walk towards the designated "battlefield". We smirk at eachother before entering the roped off square.
I secure the shield to my forearm and unsheath my blade. Staring at Nathan I notice how good looking he actually is especially with this new look of competition on his face. I snap out of it before I loose focus but I do notice some of the adults backing under the rope.
Nathan makes the first move and rushes at me , swinging his sword. Instincts hits in and I lift my shield to protect my head.
