(Jesy's POV):
I began to wonder why Jade was taking so long, I mean, all she had to do was answer a call, say she was busy and hang up. I began to get impatient and I went into my bandmates room. When I pushed open the closed door, I saw my best friend in floods of tears, staring blankly at the wall. She looked a bit like a lost puppy. I ran over to her, stood her up and pulled her into my arms. I let her cry on my shoulder without questioning her. After about 5 minutes she calmed down. I pulled back slightly and looked at her.
"Jade what’s up, babe?" I asked her.
"Sam’s dead." She whispered inaudibly.
"What?"
"Sam’s dead." She repeated a little louder. I looked questionably at her.
She explained to me that someone had called her telling her that her boyfriend had lost his life. She then told me how we had to go to the hospital to find out what has actually happened. I nodded in agreement, took her hand and led her to my car.
I put my keys in the ignition and pulled off the tiled driveway. I saw out the corner of my eye that Jade looked like she was about to break down into tears. I took her hand in my free one and squeezed it supportively. I flashed a smile at her and continued to drive.
Once we had both got to the hospital, I put my arm around Jade and pulled the small Geordie close to my side. It broke my heart to see her in this much pain. I felt her rest her head on my toned shoulder as I began to notice fresh tears rolling down her face and landing on my jacket. She wiped it off and murmured something I didn’t get.
“Huh?” I asked her.
“Nothing.” She grunted.
We continued to walk to the entrance until we were met by a receptionist. She looked up at us, looking fed up and bored. She had grey hair and looked like she was in her late 40’s. She let out a sigh before she began to speak.
“Hello, welcome to St. Phil’s, how can I help you?” She said, forcing a smile.
“Erm, were here for Sam… Craske?” Jade said, her voice breaking.
“Right this way ma’am.” She answered before leading us down a large corridor. The corridor was filled to the brim with people sitting on plastic chairs, pretty much feeling as my friend did, lost and scared. They were most likely in our situation. The walk to Sam’s room seemed to drag out longer than it needed to. Finally we reached his room. The woman flashed us a supportive smile before opening the door.
(Jades POV):
The woman opened the door to reveal a table with my boyfriend lying under a blue sheet. I felt physically sick as I saw my other half dead. I let out a cry before running over to Sam.
“SAM!” I cried.
I went to grab him, but I felt a pair of arms pull me back. I turned around to see Jesy in front of me. She smiled sympathetically as I wrapped my arms around her neck, pulling her close to me and crying into her shoulder. I felt her pull back a bit, but her arms remained around my waist.
“I don’t know how I’m going to do this Jess.” I cried.
“You’ll get through it babe, you’re the strongest women I know.” She smiled, kissing me on the cheek. I smiled a bit and glanced back at Sam. I couldn’t look at him anymore. I took Jesy’s hand and left the room. I had no idea how I was going to cope without Sam.
