chapter 21:

liza's pov

i woke up and david was right next to me.

"goodmorning, beautiful." david said.

i smiled and kissed his cheek.

i got up and went downstairs and started to make coffee.

"liza." david said walking down the stairs.

"hm?" i said

david got down on one knee

"david..." i said

"look liza, we are only nineteen but i already know i went to spend the rest of my life with you. there is one person i would want more, babe. we have gone through so much together. why not make it our life? why not be eachother a special person. i'm in love with you liza. i've never felt this way before. you're my one and only." david said

i started crying. not sad tears this time, but happy tears. i was in love with david i wanted him more then anything.

"elizabeth koshy, will you marry me?" david said.

i held his hand.

"yes." i said crying

he stood up and out the ring on my finger. he picked me up and i wrapped my legs around him as we kissed.

-david's pov

after i proposed i went to ralph's to grab some watermelon because liza has been craving it for some reason lately. then i ran into alex.

"david." alex said

"alex, long time no see, eh?" i said

"how's liza?" alex said

"she's great! i actually just proposed." i said trying to make him jealous.

alex shut down it seemed like.

"i've been meaning to call." alex said switching the topic.

"oh." david said.

"yeah, sorry i've been busy with my job." alex said

alex got a new job as a law judge. he makes bank. he literally makes 50,000 a week. it's crazy.

sometimes i wonder how someone like alex got that good of a job.

"good for you, alex."

"thank you, david. it means a lot coming from you." alex said

"how's gabby?" i asked

"i wouldn't know, she left maybe about a week ago with some guy." alex said

"well, it was nice talking." i said

"yeah! tell liza i said hello. call me sometime so we can make plans." alex said

"alright." i said

we smile and left the opposite way.

hi guys! ahahaha i know, i've been gone for a long time. but i think i'm back now lol. i recently lost a family member and it was really hard for me to process. i took time away from social media and writing. this story is a mess, i started this story like 2 years ago and i was young and didn't know what i was doing. so i think i'm going to start the story new, like about liza & david's married life. even tho, they are not a couple anymore doesn't mean i can't write about them! but, i'm also working on another story, my bestfriends brother. go check it out !
