I opened my eyes and found myself lying in bed

I could hear voices coming from the outside

"She was never suppose to stay at your place Damon! You know it's too risky!" A familiar voice said

"So what was I to do? Leave her in the middle of no where?" He replied angry

Jacob sighed, "you've already drawn too much attention to her, I'm taking her back home"

"Home? You're making he leave Manhattan and her dreams? Are you fucking crazy?" Damon yelled

"Shut up Damon its all your fault" Jacob yelled
"It's safest that way" Jacob said softly

I straightened myself and sat down, a drip was attached to my right hand

A while later Jacob came inside followed my Damon

"Hey sis, how are you feeling now?" Jacob asked taking a seat besides me

I smiled looking at Damon, he stood leaning against the door. His eyes focused on me

"I'm good, water please" I said

Jacob passed me the glass of water and I drank all of it in a sip

"What happened?" I asked

"You had an asthma and anxiety attack" Damon said sternly

"Was I taken to the hospital?" I asked looking at Damon

"No, Damon has practiced medicine. He knew you had an asthma attack and assumed since you couldn't find you inhaler you probably got an anxiety attack" Jacob said

I was left speechless, Damon practiced medicine?

Jacobs feel phone rang and he excused himself, leaving me and Damon alone

"Please don't act like a stranger, specially since you saved my life. I owe you" I said sincerely to Damon

"That's because you made your way to my room, had you stayed in your own room I would've never found out and God knows what would've happened" Damon said walking towards me

"Must you always think of the worst?" I smiled

Damon smiled, "What can I say his royal highness must think about all sort of possibilities"

I laughed, "You're not so rude after all"

Damon raises a brow, "No?"

"No" I whispered, smiling "So you've practiced medicine?"

"Something like that" He said

I nodded as Jacob entered the room, he looked at Damon and then at me

"Could you leave me and my sister alone for a while Damon?" Jacob asked, his words laced with anger

"Sure" He said and left

"You like him" Jacob said

"Who? Damon?" I asked

"Yes"

"Last time I checked he saved my life" I said

"He saves you're life with a heavy price for you to pay Mia!" Jacob yelled at me

I flinched, "What are you talking about?"

"We're leaving" Jacob said

"I know we already discussed that"

"You don't get it Mia, we're leaving Manhattan. You're not going to stay here it's not safe for you. I'm taking you back to mum and dads" Jacob announced
