Tonight.
Tonight, especially,
Shown on the outside,
Nothing is different.
Understand?
Without looking,
Open the door,
Step out into the rain,
Feel the wind,
And how it speaks through it's breeze.
Now, walk down the alley.
Hold that feeling...
Calm, quiet, and collective.
Then.... Breathe.
Inside, in the dark, twisted.
He is gone.
Lost. Or was he?
A sound of motion
He was being followed.
Blood started to pump, he quickened his pace.
Let's runaway, it taunted.
No one will miss you.
Confusion and anger cloud his mind
He, too, focused on the question in the air,
Listening to the red-as-fire eyes.
Calm down, child, and come.
Death is here.
