First things first: Hi! I'm Lily and i'm 16 years old. I live in England, and I've just finished secondary school and finished Year 11 (thanks to coronavirus I barely got to say goodbye to anyone :( so I'm basically a college student now) so I'm about to go into first year college or Year 12 as some people call it. Year 12 (for any Americans) I think equates to 11th grade, so I believe that would make me a Junior in an American High School (And college is ages 16-18). I bet you're probably thinking 'yikes', and I wouldn't blame you.
But I promise, i'm going to try my absolute best to write this book to the best of my ability, and make it as enjoyable as I can for people to read.
Now, this book is set in Georgia. Which is an American state.
A place where I do not live.
So please please bear with me while I write this book, as even though I am doing as much research as I can to have correct facts about the state (and America as a whole) I may get things wrong and feel absolutely free to give me constructive criticism (or just criticism) on how to improve it and make it correct.
Also, spelling. I will be spelling things the english way, such as 'realise' with an 's' and 'colour' with a 'u' as it won't sit right with me if I use the American spelling.
If this book ever gets a lot of readers (I sincerely hope so :)), and people who wish to re-read, I will ask you not to spoil for other people. If I see any spoilers in the comments I will delete them, and the same goes for any hate or arguments.
This book is most definitely going to be a place for people to relax, and also feel on the edge of their seat (hopefully), and just be immersed in the action that will unfold.
As I said, please tell me if I have made a mistake and I will see to it that it is fixed, and if you feel like a certain line or something could be written in a better way, let me know.
This book WILL HAVE SWEARING and possibly some injury detail so if you are opposed to either of those then maybe refrain from reading this OR ignore it completely :)
I am still in school, and i'm not a professional writer so please bear in mind that my writing might not always be to an impeccably high standard, but I will give it a go nonetheless and I still hope you enjoy. (And, I am a semi-high achiever in my English classes, currently attaining grades of high B's and low A's, so please don't be discouraged from reading because of my age :))
