A/N: Chapter may be a bit short due to(sighs) school👿. Anyway, I wanted to dedicate this update to @Miramc22 for her nice comment which helped me push myself to update👍. Now for the chapter::)
Rachel's POV:
I sighed as I looked out my window, looking at Florida's beautiful beaches one last time. Why?! I thought. Why did they have to move us to Gravity whatever? I just couldn't bear the thought of leaving home. I grew up here, and I wasn't about to give up my home! That's it! I'll stand up for my own rights!
"MOMM!!" I screamed with passion for my idea. I sped down the stairs and stopped immediately. I was shocked. The house was completely empty, not a thing of ours to be seen. WHAT?! "Sweety, we packed your bags for you." My mom said with a flashy smile. I clenched my fist at the thought of it.
"But we can't move Mom, can't you see? We grew up here!" I said tearing up. It was true. My parents even lived here BEFORE I was born. That's when I realized she was acting. She obviously didn't want to leave, but she was holding her emotions back so I wouldn't be emotional. Too late.
There it was. The car. Pulled up in front of me ready to take me away from Florida, the beautiful. As Mom got into the car I hesitated. I looked at the house and waved it goodbye. Thanks for the memories, I thought.
We quickly arrived at the airport and I pulled out my earbuds. The nice thing about being transferred was we got to ride fancy,(first class:) ) I hopped on the plane and grabbed a first class seat, and immediately put my earbuds in. I glanced over at my parents who seemed concerned but I looked away.
Basically, the whole ride I just played my music and wanted to get it over with. That's when I looked out the window and a sign below read:
Welcome, to Gravity Falls, Oregon!
As I stared at the bold sign below, only one thought went through my head. Here we go.
