A few years later, I got the news that I get to go to America, I was ecstatic. The only down side is that the little ones are going to be transferred to Pennsylvania but I'm going to New York. I was so excited, so I couldn't sleep. All I could think about is America and how I'm very to start my life on a fresh slate. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't take this opportunity for granite and that I would never forget the friends I made in my home land.
This is my story of how I, Aiesha Dior, made it through the troublesome journey through war to safety.
