The next day, I had a gut feeling something was bound to happen but my told me my paranoia is getting to me.

Once we started walking again, we saw a group of figures nearing towards us. Once I could see them clearly, I saw they had guns and that can't be good!

My brother told me to go hide behind a rock while he distracted them, but I couldn't just leave him! We fought over my regards for my safety but eventually I complied. When the men got close they asked him his age, then to come with them, but he must have known that they were going to make him join the war, so he didn't comply and they shot him. I felt the need to scream at them then cry, but unless I wanted the same fate as my brother, I kept my mouth shut. I refused to look at the negativity of all of this .
