Back on Sunday I don't think I really did a good job of explaining the people I work with. I said that myself and one other were the only realible ones. Although I didn't really elaborate, so I think I need to explain myself. I don't want to just put on my judge wig for no good reason.
So first off if you have questions I will answer them, you know were to ask them at.
So basely each of them are great people it is always nice seeing them every day before I start my shift as I transition into letting them off theirs.
We all get along okay not really what I'd call my friends, but their people around me that see eye to eye with me sometimes.The thing is I arrived a hour to 45 minutes early to work. Why you may ask? To clean I say. I don't know what exactly to say about this, but everyday I go in early to do a clean up routine before my shift starts to after all of that clean it all again. When I arrive at work usually the floors are dirty, the trays are full of crumbs, and the tables and booths have rice and just spots all over them. Or just aren't wiped down properly.
We have two rags for cleaning tables with. Each rag should always be washed after each table is cleaned and rolled out to get rid or excess water. Theses guys do theses things but don't roll them out hardly and just miss over spots carelessly. Basely they are either on their phones, cleaning sort of, and or serving customers.
I am not trying to misjudge them, they do clean but very sloppy and it is ridiculous. I understand everyone has different standards of "clean" and yes at least they do clean but I can clearly see there is stuff left behind. Like crumbs on the table and or not positioning the salt and pepper shakers correctly.
Don't get me wrong I love cleaning I just wish they knew how to better or cared to better. It is part of there job after all and I'd would hate to see them get in trouble over it just because of carelessness. Which I don't have a problem with although sometimes I don't always have time for that. Cleaning I mean like if customers come in or need me. A few times I haven't and get complaints on how dirty the table is, which usually they really never get dirty but sometimes there is a little spot that just bothers them so I have to clean it later and set them at a different table.
Our restaurant I bet sounds absolutely filthy to you guys right now but trust me that is not the case. When I am not there my boss or C does a absolutely excellent job cleaning. Just those others are well okay as I said before.
First off let's give them some names not there real ones of course but just substitutes. I work with J, T, C, and D. Yes that is extremely uncreative of my but it makes sense in my mind.
