Tom's P.O.V.

I felt arms hoisting me into a standing position. One side of my chest was throbbing with pain, and an uncomfortably warm sensation spread across that area. My eyes fluttered open, and for a second, I thought I saw a man opening the golden gates to heaven for me, but I was soon snapped out of that fantasy.

I saw the sidewalk flashing past below me, and I assumed I must be moving. But how? The last thing I remembered was going to the park to relax and get away from the stress of things.
Then I remembered.

Flaaaasssshhhbaaaaaaccck

I felt a tingling sensation throughout my entire body. My legs felt weak, as if they'd give out at any given moment. My head was throbbing, and my arms felt numb. I stumbled over to the nearest alleyway and sat down to take a breather.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket to call Edd so he could pick me up, but a strong and unbearable pain seared through my palms and wrists. I noticed that my hands were becoming rough, and they were a light shade of purple. My fingers were getting "sharper", and in the blink of an eye, I no longer had human hands, but large, purple claws.

I had begun to hyperventilate out of shock and fear. I reached for the phone with a trembling claw, only to sharply retract it as a agonizing pain pierced my back. I heard the ripping on fabric, and the light breeze fresh on my back. My hoodie had been torn. I grasped my head with my claw-hands and sobbed.
"Make it stop!"

Tord's P.O.V.

Tom lay on the couch, quivering weakly. I had found him in an alleyway, where I had mistaked him for a dangerous stranger, slicing the side of his chest with my switchblade in fear that I was being attacked.

He lay there now, gently snoring, which was interrupted by the occasional whimper. I looked at his side, where the hoodie was torn and bloodstained from when I unintentionally cut him. A singular tear rolled down my cheek, falling from my chin to plop onto the stained living room carpet.

He didn't deserve this pain. I felt so angry with myself for not noticing the blue hoodie and spiky hair before lodging the knife into his side. My eyes were then averted to the several holes on the back of his hoodie. They went in a row, the ones near the top being the biggest.

Edd had already checked the unconscious alcoholic over several times, and he had confirmed the holes were probably just rips instead of places where Tom was injured. I just shrugged it off. Without a second thought, I moved my hand over to cup his soft cheek. After I was hit with the realization of what I was doing, I quickly snapped my hand away.

What if he had woken up and seen me do that? Tom would hate me even more, if that's even possible. I looked down sadly. I have had a crush on Tom for years, but I've just been too nervous to confess. Tom hated me ever since I first left the gang to pursue my dreams of making it in the big city - which, of course, was a lie so I could escape back to the Red Army base in my homeland, Norway. I had since then returned, only to wreak havoc on their home, and destroy their house, with the addition of murdering their innocent neighbor.

Edd and Matt have come to forgive me (well, Matt probably just forgot what happened entirely), but Tom had completely avoided me. Whenever I attempted to talk to him or ask to hang out with him, he would snarl a cold remark in response, then retreat to his room, where he proceeded to wash away the day's memories with bottle after bottle of his favorite alcohol, Smirnoff.

Am I that big of a monster? Were Edd and Matt stupid to forgive a psychopath like me? I sighed and buried my face in my hands.
What if Tom is right about me?
