Mika researched about her partner, Niko. She found out that he is in the Philippines and is a student in Wintercrest University. She packed her things and travelled the next day.
When she arrived, she went to the academy and found Niko there. She approached him and talked.
"Niko, we were attacked by Kage. Everyone in the dojo died. Sensei Chikao, before he died, said that we would be undefeatable if we team up. What do you say?"
"No, I won't! I want to live a normal life. Everything that happened to me was horrible and I can't forgive myself for that."
"I went here hoping that you would join me, but I guess you only thought of yourself. I did not come here just for that, but to say that I loved you for a very long time."
"Love? Define love?"
Mika didn't answer because she was too busy crying. Niko closed his eyes and bowed down his head
"See? You don't even know what love is. Love is just a waste of time."
Niko walked out.
