In the couple of weeks that Robin had to get to know his apparent son Yarne, the cowardly taguel was hardly welcoming. He heard from his fellow Shepherds that Yarne had been spreading rumors about Robin cheating on Panne! It was unbelievable! They had had that talk before, and Robin had promised Yarne that Panne would remain his wife forever, but apparently that was hardly enough for the boy to believe him.
So he had the idea of confronting him one day about the subject, but it turned out that it was HE who was confronted by Yarne! In the morning, he was approached by the upset-looking shapeshifter.
"Father! I need to talk to you!" Yarne said loudly, despite their close distance to each other.
"Actually, I needed to talk to you as well. Come to my tent." Robin said, smiling. He ignored the quiet comment Yarne made about "probably having every woman in the camp waiting to make him vanish."
Inside the tent, the two sat on Robin's bed, ready to talk.
"I permit you to begin." Robin said, hands on his lap. Yarne hesitated, but ended up nodding and taking a deep breath.
"I wanted to say goodbye!" The dramatic bunny cried, looking suddenly transformed. He looked angry, with tears in his eyes, clenched fists, and bared teeth. "You wanna know why? 'Cause you're obviously cheatin' on Mom! It's s-so clear! This week, y-you talked to a total of 54 different w-women that weren't Mom!" He yelled, crying. Robin looked a little concerned.
"What has gotten into you, Yarne? When you said you wanted to talk, I did not imagine being yelled at by my son." He chided, reminding the boy of his rude and loud tone.
"Sh-Shut up, you unfaithful h-harlot!" Yarne shouted, almost sobbing. He slapped his father across the face, surprising the tactics out of Robin.
"Yarne! Calm down this instant! You've completely lost your wits!" He said, gripping his shoulders. The angry boy just shoved him off.
"N-No! You c-calm down!" Yarne said defiantly, standing up. "If you w-wanted me to d-disappear, y-you might a-as well have m-murdered Panne!" He shouted. He was so full of resentment and anger, his face was red. Robin took a few deep breaths.
"You leave me no choice." Robin said, looking upset. He pointed his hand at Yarne, magic shackles immobilizing the taguel. "Now tell me. How did Panne and I punish you in the past?" It took a few minutes for Yarne to get tired from struggling and answer.
"Y-You'd spank the d-daylights out of m-me..." He mumbled, looking a little guilty.
'Perhaps he's realized what he just did.' Robin thought, nodding at Yarne and releasing him. He then took the boy by the hand and lead him to the bed, where he was promptly put over his father's knees. "I want you to know that I am spanking you because I care about you. I love Panne, you, Morgan, and nobody else." He said, untying and pulling Yarne's furry loincloth to his knees, exposing his plump behind. His rabbit tail flicked, its owner nervous.
"N-Not too hard.." Yarne pleaded, burying his face in a pillow. Robin patted his back, beginning the spanking with a series of smacks to the taguel's soft cheeks. "Ahaaaoww!" Yarne howled, kicking his legs a bit. Robin felt his heart pain as he continued punishing the naughty rabbit. It was a shame that he had to resort to such methods, but Yarne was acting insanely, and Robin wanted to correct that.
"Yoowww!" Was another howl offered by Yarne, who was crying again by now. It hurt Robin to make his son cry, but it couldn't be helped.
"Please stay still." Robin requested, locking Yarne's restless legs between his own. The taguel whimpered pathetically.
"B-but it huurts.." He whined, wiggling as he tried to get away. Robin held a firm grip on his son, allowing him no escape.
"I'm shocked, Yarne. You said some very hurtful things to me, and thought nothing of it." The tactician chided, spanking the rabbit's sit spots. Yarne began sobbing hard, head in his hands.
"I'm sorry faaatheeeeer!" He wailed, too tired to kick anymore. Robin sighed, stopping the punishment. The taguel's behind was very red and sore. Picking his son up into a hug, he squeezed him ever so slightly.
"Shh..Shh.. It's over, my son.. You're forgiven.." He soothed, rubbing his back. Yarne buried his cowardly face into his father's coat. His body was racked with sobs, causing him to tremble.
"I-I'm sorry for treating you he way I did, Father.." Yarne said, letting Robin wipe his tears off for him.
"It's alright. I know you didn't mean it. You were just distraught and scared.. And I'm sorry for not being able to keep the promise I am not yet aware of making." said Robin. He pet Yarne like a bunny, between his ears, making the bunny boy feel very small, but it was still nice. For a few minutes, Robin and Yarne sat on the tactician's bed, embracing. It was Yarne who spoke up.
"Y-Y'know, you would a-always kiss my forehead a-after a spanking..." The taguel said, looking a little sad. Robin warmly smiled, putting his hands on Yarne's shoulders, leaning in, and kissing his forehead.
"Better?" He asked, Yarne nodding in agreement. After that, Yarne stopped thinking about Robin cheating on Panne, and decided it was best not to get on Father's bad side, lest he be spanked. That didn't mean he didn't get into more trouble though..
