Karma's POV

I fell down because of that move i used on whoever that girl is really needs all of my concentration so it drains my chi a or i could have killed her she gets up and looks at me i held out my hand to help her up but she scoots back in hurry and grabs her staff, pointing it at me i look at her hands seeing them shaking then at her confused as hell till i felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Um karma you might want to see this" Axel says i look around seeing all of the girls staring at us with fear in their eyes they also had weapons on us i look at leone even she had fear in her eyes blaze and jack walk to us i got up shaking off some dust from my shorts we look at each then back at the girls i look back at spear girl as she was getting some help up.

"Y-you four are demi-kids?" Leone finally says i really hate that word: demi-kids humans that are born with animal parts and have also been to war with humans ever since they appeared long ago some of them are used as slaves or house pets i get my leopard parts from my mom actually in my family (besides my mom) i'm the other one that have both tail and ears of a leopard.

"Hey guys i think we should dip" jake says he isn't lying because these girls might look scared of us but pretty sure their ready to attack us we stand there for a few seconds before running out the back door we all scattered so they couldn't catch all of us i ran up a tree and started to jump one from another one and so on till i was in the woods that were in the back of the school i land on a branch and sat down panting, really have to work on not using so much of my chi all at once.

"You might as well come out i could hear you following me" i say then look behind to see the spear girl don't really know how she was able to catch up to me we look at each other till i start to run deeper into the woods that girl was still following me kinda surprised that she can keep up with me i jump out of tree and land on a rock in front of a pond, looking around hopefully losing her i look at the pond getting a calm feeling this happens to me every time i'm somewhere that there's no people i close my eyes and taking in the sounds.

"H-hey" i hear a voice say i look behind me seeing her behind a tree holding her spear i look at her getting annoyed that she was able to keep up with me dad had taught me to be fast in the trees so that no one could find me but this chick she was able to keep up even though i was running on trees and that's not easy.

"What? you here for round two?" I say getting up cracking my knuckles and put my fist up getting ready she comes from behind the tree, puts her spear on the ground and holds up her hands i put my fist down but not my guard as she walks closer to me.

"I just want to talk ok?" She says walking to me like i'm a wild animal which was getting on my nerves i sigh and sat back down on the rock she sat on one that was close but not to close to me we didn't look at each other or said anything i glance at her really getting a good look at her and it hit me: she was that girl who waved at me when we had finished up with the garden i stare at her for a while till she looked at me i quick turn away putting my focus on the pond.

"So um h-how did you do that thing on me?" She says breaking the silence i didn't answer her when she asked me instead i was keeping quiet 'maybe if i don't talk she'll think i'm mute' i thought in my head but remember she knows i'm not i mean we just had a talk so well fuck it.

"I made your muscles in your body stop working for a little bit so i could get the upper hand on you" i say not giving her the full description on it i hear movement so i looked in her direction to see her standing up and bowing at me with her hand out? the hell is she doing?

"My name is Katie Skies please teach me how you did that move!" She says i look at her wondering if she was alright or on anything i look at her hand then looked at her face she had her eyes close and was blushing guess she's nervous.

"Really you want me to teach you? Aren't you scared of me?" I said she looks up at me nods her head really fast she says that she wasn't scared just surprised then bows her head again i sigh dad had always told me not to teach any of the Black Star Clan's moves or attacks to anyone because you there are some people who are trying to kill us but she doesn't look like someone that would hurt me and top it off she has her head bowed if anyone saw this me making her wait this long they'll think i'm a jackass i get up and put my hand on hers.

"Ok i'll teach you by the way i'm Karma and yes that's my real name" i say known karma is my nickname i don't like telling people my real name she looks up at me and we both shake on it after that she looks at our hands and blushes again she lets go then starts to ask a million questions some where her asking me to touch my ears or tail we talk till i felt like i should head back but all i have to say about this girl is that she's a weirdo but nice.
