Maddison put her head down and whispered,
"Wh-What if you don't want tor go home?"
"Huh?" Mr. Shadow responded.
Maddison lifted her head.
"What if you don't want to go home?"
Maddison said again.
"What if you you want to stay, forever?"
"Well," Mr. Shadow said worried.
"Why don't you want to go home?"
"..." Maddison said in silence.
"I don't have a home," She said.
"What about your family?"
Mr. Shadow responded
"I don't have a family," She said as her eyes dimmed.
"Oh," He realized
"I'm so sorry,"
Maddison looked down and started walking over to The Void, bridge.
Mr. Shadow quickly stepped in front of Maddison and grabbed her hand.
"Now, let's go," Mr. Shadow said.
