"Where are we heading?" Maddison said in a fearful voice.
"The void, m'lady," Mr. Shadow replied.
"What's that?" She questioned.
"A place where darkness separates the light,"
He responded.
"That's where we can find a lady to get you back up to your realm,"
They started heading to the void when Maddison realized that something was following her.
"AHHHH!" She screamed.

A snake suddenly climbed on to
Mr. Shadow's hat.
"Oh!" Mr. Shadow said in a shocked voice.
"VINCENT!"
Vincent, was Mr. Shadow's Black Rat Snake. The snake had deep black scales and two piercing, yellow eyes. Though the snake looked deadly, it was actually quite a friendly fellow.
"W-What was that?!" Maddison yelled, slowly backing up.
"Don't be afraid, M'lady," Mr. Shadow said,
"It's just my snake, Vincent."
"Sssssssso nisssse to meet you," Vincent responded.
Maddison stood in silent fear.
"Well, no time to stand there, we must go,"
Mr. Shadow said in a slight rushed voice.
