Song : The phantoms. You are my sunshine. Original by Jimmie Davis

I felt the pain extreme pain from my mother dragging me, getting ready for another punishment. I tried to claw at her hands, but it only made it worse. She dragged me to the kitchen and dumped me there, and I was harshly thrown to the ground, a small groan escaped my lips as I quickly sat up. I saw my mother choosing the biggest knife we had and turned around to me. My eyes widened in fear, I slowly backed up against the wall, as my mother slowly approached me "I should've done this a long time ago." She softly muttered, as she crouched down in front of me. Her eyes we're glaring at me "Are you ready?" She asked, an amused tint in her voice. I quickly shook my head and my mother rolled her eyes "Like you get a choice.." She said bored, after she said that tears filled my eyes. I tried not to cry as my mother teasingly brought the knife closer slowly. My mind decided to act quick and I stood up. My mother didn't except this, and I quickly kicked her in the face. She fell backwards, clearly caught off guard. I quickly pinned her down and grabbed the knife with one hand, the other holding her down. My mother started laughing loudly "I know you won't kill me! You're too much of a wimp! Just hand me the knife and let me end it all!" She said while laughing. For a moment my grip wavered, actually considering what she said. But that didn't last for long as I quickly lashed out, slitting her throat open. My mother eyes widened in shock, as she quickly tried to speak, but the only sound that left her body we're some gurgles as she spit up some blood. She started to cough roughly until she fell still. Not a single movement or sound came from her. I stood up, looking half horrified at the body. I quickly turned away. I was unsure what to do at first, but then I decided what to do. I marched to the living room where my pet dog was sleeping. My mother got him a year back when he was in a better mood, her way of apologizing was always to give me nice thing. This dog was the best one so far. My dog looked at me in confusion as I came closer. I sat down in front of him and slightly pushed him down. My dog went along with my movements, thinking he was about to receive some belly rubs. I looked him in the eyes for one last time before quickly slitting his throat too. My dog jumped up and tried to attack me, now seeing me as a threat. Sadly he didn't have the power to do anything, he fell back down and weird sounding whining noises came from him. I watched as the life slowly ebbed out of my dog. Until he laid as still as my mother. I stood up and said my last words to my dog "Goodbye Isaac, you we're my best gift so far, but it's time for our goodbyes now.." I mumbled softly. Feeling quite sad I just lost my best gift, but I had to move on quickly.

Eleanor's P.O.V
The Sunday went by quick, and not a lot happened. And I was sad that the weekend was already over and that I had to go to school again. Monday's always we're the worst. Knowing that a long week was waiting for you. I sighed as I stretched. I had just woken up and the realization that it was Monday hit me pretty hard as I groaned in annoyance. I really disliked school but like everyone I still had to go. I got ready as slow as possible and went downstairs, where breakfast was already waiting. Isaac noticed me downstairs and smiled "You're finally here! Come eat, my love." He said happiness in his voice. I quickly sat down and smiled at him. I started to eat the tasty food. "Go get ready, you're almost late for school and we need to go now." Isaac said after we ate. I quickly nodded and went to ready myself.
The car drive to school was faster than I wanted as I forcefully dragged myself into school hoping that time could go faster.
After a few hours I went into the cafeteria to get some lunch. But when I stepped into the cafeteria I saw her. Ashley. After days she finally showed up, it made me extremely angry. She didn't show up for days and didn't tell me anything, and here she was like nothing happened. She was sitting at the table we usually sat at, and looked around like nothing had happened. It fueled my anger even more. I quickly grabbed some pretty bad looking lunch and slammed the tray down at the table. I narrowed my eyes at Ashley and said "You have some explaining to do." In the angriest voice I could muster. She looked a little shocked at my hostility, but quickly started talking "I was sick." She said, a simple lie I immediately saw through. It angered me so much more. First she didn't show up and now she dared to lie to me. I stood up, my hands clenching around the stale but useful knife. I jumped up awkwardly as the cafeteria chairs didn't offer a lot of moving space. Ashley looked at me uncomfortably not yet noticing the knife I held in my grasp I walked around the table and looked at Ashley with the meanest glare ever. I jumped on Ashley and fell to the ground with her. Ashley looked at me, fear evident in her eyes "Eleanor don't do it!" She said panicked. I wasn't sure what she didn't want me to do. What was I even doing. I noticed most people had stopped chattering to look at us. They thought we we're having some innocent fight and nobody would get seriously hurt. Some even stood up to get a closer look. More and more people came to look. But I didn't notice them. The only thing I saw was the person in front of me. The person I was pinning down. I didn't see Ashley anymore, I saw my mother. I had her pinned like my mother. I could do anything to her like I did to my mother. I didn't see her fear in her eyes anymore, I saw her mock me. I saw her challenging me. So I did the only thing I could do when I was challenged. I accept the challenge. I felt my teeth clench automatically. I slowly raised the knife. Ashley's eyes widened even more but I didn't see it. When the knife was high enough I quickly pulled it down right into Ashley's stomach, eight times. I stabbed her eight times before I realized there we're tons of witnesses who we're probably already calling the cops and that I should run. I jumped up from the body, not really disturbed by it. I started running. Nobody stopped me, they all jumped away in disgust and freight. 'Pathetic' I thought as they all jumped away. I swiftly ran out of the school building into the woods without much problem, as I began the trek back home.
I finally arrived at my destination. My breath was heavy as I tried to catch it again. Sweat was dripping off every piece of my clothing and I felt disgusted and I definitely needed a shower after this. I was about to grab the keys as I realized I was still holding the knife in my hand. I quickly dropped it, only now realizing I was entirely covered in blood. I gasped a little at the amount. But shook it off as I opened the door and locked it behind me. I immediately ran for the shower, as I took a quick shower. I grabbed my phone to alarm Isaac I was already home. I pressed his number into the phone and waited for him to pick up "C'mon.." I softly said "Isaac speaking?" I heard after a few second, I let out a shaky breath and began "I-Isaac I'm already at home, no need to pick me up.." I said. I heard Isaac sign "What did you do?" He asked. I nervously gulped, not knowing how to answer that question. "I-I.." I began to mumble "Spit it out! What did you do Eleanor! You are beginning to make me think you murdered somebody!" Isaac snapped into the phone. I let out another breath, trying to breath normally "I killed Ashley.." I mumbled, but Isaac heard it. I heard him starting to laugh "Of course you did! Of course you did.. I'm coming home right now, shouldn't be long until the cops are there too!" Isaac said, still laughing. I looked around nervously and I mumbled "See you soon." Before hanging up the phone. I sat down at the couch and started to pace around nervously. I could already imagine hearing the cops in the distance calling my name loudly and about to shoot me down, but when I looked out the window, they weren't here yet. After a few more moments of pacing around, Isaac came in through the door. "The cops are already on the way. I saw them while going here. I just managed to bypass them. We should probably start running." Isaac said while grinning, as he grabbed my hand.
