snow pelted down on her fur, she desperately tasted the air for something, anything, the chill of leaf bare was creeping through her pelt, making her shiver, heather sprouted up between trees and by mosses, there. A rabbit, she paused, would she really give AcornFur the satisfaction of giving up? No. She plodded forward, her claws clotted with hail, she glanced at the dark sky, her numb paws yearned for her to turn away, "Blizzardpaw, I can't watch you hurt yourself,  we are going back to camp... now. We can do the assessment another day."  Blizzardpaw, surprised at this stared at her for a few moments, then, regaining her confidence, she stalked past her back to camp.

"Blizzardpaw, we need to talk." she raised her muzzle from her freshkill, Blackfeathers black and brown pelt was fluffed against the thick snow, she paused licking her shoulder fur rapidly and darted over, he turned away and began to pad towards the entrance, she frowned for a second and the followed the deputy. The two kept on moving through the pines and frosted moss, until she was sure her paws would fall off. he turned to face ehr, sympathy clouded his gaze, "Blizzardpaw, I... your not ready.  Your pushing yourself against your mentor, you defy her every pawstep, the past is past Blizzardpaw, I am afraid ShadeStar wont let you become a warrior until you put your past behind you and forgive her. Anger boiled in her heart, hatred for AcornFur, such hatred she hadn't felt in moons, "I cant forgive her. I cant put my own mothers death behind me. I was just a kit. I didn't deserve that, she should have paid." his eyes hardened "Stop acting like your ears are full of fluff. If you keep going on as a life for a life, you'll end up like your father. No cat wants to be around you anymore, at least try to hide it." she stood stiffly, glaring into his eyes, matching his challenging gaze.
