It was a little while after Maya showed up at the Matthews and she was honestly very glad that she came. Auggie really does need someone to talk to and he isn't getting that from his family. But she is really worried about the fact that she hasn't seen Josh. She knew that was something she had to do but she was a bit scared and that was because of a lot more than just one reason.
It's been one week later and Auggie had calmed down a bit. The cold New York November weather was starting to come around and even if it was still early Maya knew that everything would change very fast. Auggie may be calm but she isn't. She was a bit sad and mad. Sad that her best friend is gone and mad that she left. And that because of a guy.
Maya was sitting in front busy drinking coffee while watching Auggie. Topanga and Cory had to go out for awhile and Maya offered to babysit.
