Something held me up by the neck with large, sharp hands. Nails dug into my neck, causing blood to trickle down. I looked around to see many worried figures attempting to attack whatever was holding me. Why does this feel.. Nostalgic.
I feel like.. this has happened before. I feel like.. it's going to happen..
Then my world went black.
I woke up to the bright orange rays of the sun leaking into my eyes. I hesitantly sat up and let my eyes adjust to the bright scenery of my room.
It was [F/C] and had random doodles hung all over the place in random bunches. Not to mention, it also had a few photos of me and my friends from the previous city I was in. Though, that was all, since I was still moving in. There weren't too many decorations since I haven't been here all that long. I also haven't exactly been looking for decorations either.
I sighed and swung my body off of the bed and hopped into the bathroom. After showering for about 10 minutes I got out and dried myself off. I then checked my closet for anything that looks semi-decent. I'm not a big fashion person. I just wear what I think is comfortable.
After pushing everything aside, I finally found something that suits today's weather. It was a pastel yellow hoodie with light blue-white jeans. A few rips were made in them for some effect, which I don't really mind. All I was looking for was something warm that could hold up against the chilly weather outside, and this just-so-happened to be what I found. After I put that on, I slid on some white Adidas and called it a fit.
Walking over to the bathroom once again, I brushed my teeth and applied some makeup. Not a lot, but enough to cover up anything I was insecure about. Finally, to pull the look all together I put my hair into a ponytail. I smiled at myself in the mirror, doing finger guns to help boost my confidence. At this point it's become a ritual that has to be done everyday in the morning.
I grabbed my leather satchel and threw it across my shoulder. A slight growl came from my stomach. I shrugged and padded over to the door. Moments after opening it, a large breeze came through.
"Woah, good thing I put my hair up today," I laughed.
I stepped outside and closed the door behind me, shoving my hands in my hoodie's pocket. I pulled out my earphones and put them in my ears, putting on some slowed music. After that, I was ready to go.
I walked around the city a bit, though I was planning to go to the bakery first thing. After all, I've heard that it had some delicious food and I'm down for that. I continued following the path to the shopping district of the city. I'd take a shortcut, but I still don't know this area very well. So, following the signs I go!
After about twenty five minutes, I found myself standing in front of the bakery. I looked at the board above the door. Soft, mellow colors were splashed across in blotches across the originally white board and on top of all the paint read, "Benevolent's Bakery."
Large windows covered the entrance, it seemed as though they were the walls themselves. A few inspiring quotes were written on papers and boards that were taped or hung on the windows. Some included, "Take it easy," "Be yourself," and such. You know, the sappy stuff that schools would usually display on the walls in the hallways.
Another cool breeze came by and I shivered, I might as well just head in. I thought, pulling open the door.
Immediately, a blast of flavor itself hit me. An amazing aroma swirled around in the air and filled my senses, causing my mouth to water slightly. I gulped and walked toward the friendly man behind the counter. He waved at me as I approached, fixing his posture.
