Kain
Tia seemed pretty interested in that documents with Annika's name at the cover. But I felt more uneasy. More and more uneasy as she flipped through the documents.
"Tia... stop. put that documents back." I glared.
"Why?"
That question seemed to trigger me right there.
"Isn't it obvious--"
"Why?! Why are you protecting her! She really is the drug smuggler that made my life in misery!! She really was the girl behind all of this, why are you protecting her?!" She shouted.
"It just--"
"Maybe this might make you realized one thing."
Tia gave me a picture, a picture of a girl around her junior high ages. She wore a red jacket, in some of them, there's a picture where she gave a man a pill. Behind the pictures, there's writing.
'SECRET FILE 01: Annika Sket's, Leader of the Drug Smuggler Groups. RODS. Taken around her junior high.'
'SECRET FILE 10: Annika Sket's being found out by a girl, Tia Ratika.'
Every picture of Annika's over the folder is big secrecy. Her secret was bigger than mine.
But I knew one thing if she was around me. She might be only faking her Amnesia... searching for her next target. But she doesn't look like that.
"Tia... don't ever get near me... both of you," I glared at her walking outside the headmaster room.
"But you trust me, ri--?"
"Neither you or even she... I'll never trust both of you. Just go away from my life." I walked away.
This is the end, I don't need to stick up my nose around Tia... or even that Big Liar Annika.
"She is dangerous... I don't have anything to do with her anymore. Better be like this in the first place..."
A white paper was flowing from the sky, a paper about Annika. The pictures and everything. I looked outside, seeing peoples who were slowly collecting them and seemed shocked. They started to whisper one and another.
I stopped my steps, Annika wasn't far from my face. She slowly walked towards me and pulled my blazer. The peoples around me looking at her with frightened looks.
"Kain! You trust me right! Please... this is not right! I am not the D--"
"Let your hand away."
"W...what?"
"Get your filthy hand away from me!!" I shouted and pushed her away.
She started to stumble and fell butt first to the floor. Her eyes that gleamed with hopes slowly darkened.
"You... you're joking right, Kain--"
She seemed to be flinched by that, she slowly stepped towards me. She looked like she tried her best to walk and smiled.
But suddenly a girl throwing an eraser to her, but she is not giving up and still making her way towards me. I couldn't look at her eyes anymore because it was closed with her bangs.
As she stepped closer to me, more peoples throwing a lot of things to her. A paper and eraser. But as she got closer to me and once again she pulled my blazer, someone threw a whiteboard eraser towards her head.
It gave a loud sound making the corridor turned to silence and all she could do was looking at the whiteboard eraser. She shifted her gaze to me and smiled.
A shaky smile.
Why did my heart was shaken? Why is it hurt?
Her tears slowly fell from the side of her eyes.
"It's okay... this is the last time we met. Keep smiling... will you?"
She held both of my hands not so long, she let it go.
Her fingertips were cold... as cold an ice, is she cold? Or is she frightened? But her fingers were smaller than mine.
She is smaller in height too. That made me lose sight of her easily, she even disappeared after saying that.
I didn't know how I could smile. It seemed harder now, I forget how to do it. I even forget what was the warm felt like.
All I could remember was...
her dark-brown hair and a long red scarf around his neck.
I couldn't smile and
I lost my purpose again since that day.
