I approach Jessica to ask her if she wants to be my research partner.
Me: Hi Jessica! J Do you have a partner already?
Jessica: I also want to be your partner, Kath. But it will be unfair to others because it will be easy for the two of us to do a research. We should help others to. I know you don’t have friends yet, but someone will ask you later. Maybe on the next research activity, we can be partners.
Me: It’s alright. I understand what you want to say.
Who will be my partner now? I am getting nervous because our Prof. might get angry. I observed that many girls are approaching Daniel but he is refusing to be their partner. Other students are already passing their papers to me.
I am still waiting for the others to pass so that I can eat lunch now. I am also waiting for SOMEONE to approach me! >_< It is really a hard time being a transferee!
All my classmates already passed their papers. I reviewed each paper and notice that Daniel has no partner yet. My heart beats fast.
There will be an equal distribution because the activity is for two. We are 32 in this class and it is divisible by two. OMG! No, no, no! It can’t be! It will be a big trouble! +_+
I stood up to submit the papers, but I remembered that I need someone to accompany me. I don’t want Daniel because others might think that we have an affair.
I was about to leave the room when someone came in.
Daniel: What took you so long? I’ve been waiting for you outside the office. Hurry u! It is lunch break already. Prof. Edward might scold you.
Me: I am sorry if I you waited too long. I reviewed the papers if it is complete.
The surrounding is full of AWKWARDNESS! >_< I am shy because of my attitude earlier!
Daniel: It’s alright. Hurry up.
Me: I’m okay. You don’t need to accompany me anymore. Others might think that…
OMG! What am I saying!
Daniel: Others might think that? We have an affair? Just let them think about it. If you are scared to them, then, you’re a coward! You don’t need to be scared anyway since it is an offense here if you hurt others.
Me: Where can you find a school with a rule that it is fine to struggle?
Daniel: Hmp! If you’re not just beautiful and if I just don’t like you, I might hurt you!
Is he saying something?
Me: Are you saying something?!
Daniel: Ha?! No, I’m not saying anything. Come on. Prof.’s office is located at the ground floor.
The surrounding is still full of AWKWARDNESS. While we are walking, I can feel that everyone is staring at us. Is he that popular?
I can fell that the girls want to smack me! Lord, please save me! We finally stop. I didn’t notice that we are already at the front of Professor Cruz’s office. I was about to open the door when,
Daniel: Kathryn, wait a second. I don’t have a partner yet. I knew you also don’t have. I heard you talking to Jessica earlier.
What does he want to say?!
Me: So, what’s your point?
Daniel: Is it okay if…. Uhm… Is it okay if…?
Me: Oh? Is it okay if what?
Daniel: Is it okay if you will be my partner?
I’m not an idiot! I can sense it! I just want to confirm it from him. I don’t want to expect because I might disappoint myself.
Me: Uhm… there is… there is a problem…
Daniel: it is okay if you don’t like. Maybe you already found out that I am not good Arithmetic.
Me: You’re not good?
But it will be unfair to others because it will be easy for the two of us to do a research. We should help others to. I remembered what Jessica said.
Me: Alright, I can be your partner. I already have a title for the research we are going to make. J
Daniel: Sure ka? Are you serious? Maybe you’re just idling?
Me: You don’t like? Okay then, I will submit it now to Prof. Thanks for coming with me.
Daniel: Ah… wait, wait…
Then he gave me a piece of paper with our names written in it.
Me: Thank you.
I entered Prof. Cruz’s office. I just submit it to him. Maybe he got surprised when he saw that my research partner is Daniel. Oh well, he is not curious about it though because he didn’t ask me anything about it, which is a god thing, I guess? Haha!!!
When I get out, I saw DJ sitting at the bench near the office. Why is he still there? He is looking at the floor so maybe he didn’t see me coming out of the office. It is already 11:55 and maybe my brother is now hungry! Oh wait! My BROTHER!!!
What am I doing? I’m so dead right now! Poor little guy! Tsktsk! I was about to run away from the office when someone shouted my name. Of course, who will it be?

Matatagalan po update. Malapit na po kasi periodical exam namin. :) full na naman po sched. dahil sa mga requirements namin. Hope na maintindihan nung mga nagbabasa.
BTW, I can't find time para i-edit ko po ito. The story is in English language. :) pasensya na po, first story ko nga po kasi. Tina-try ko lang po kung madami magbabasa.. hehe... kung di ko pa po nasasabi, MATH STORY ko po ito sa school. Wag niyo na po tanungin ang grade dahil naging isang malaking BOOM yan nung pinass ko! trending daw dahil sobrang haba! Oh well, baka po para sa inyo, one shot story lang ang dating... hehe.. :)
