As the day of the sports festival arrived, the entire arena was packed with audience and heroes, all cheering for the future generation of young heroes, but what really brought them here was the rising of a quirkless heroine. Recently a lot of quirkless individuals have been coming out of hiding and started praising Izumi like a god as she has given the people a voice of hope that will help change the future for the better. The Sports Festival is a nationally televised competition where first year students can showcase their abilities in order to get scouted by.

Inside of the arena, the students were kept inside designated rooms to wait until the games started, the students of U.A. were waiting for the signal to begin. "I'm so nervous." Ochaco said as she kept fidgeting with her fingers, a few others agreed, "What's this?, is class 1A getting cold feet now?, that's such a shame~." Monoma said with a creepy smile when suddenly something hard pointed at his head, the entire U.A. students gasped.

"Is it too much to have some manners around here." Izumi said as she pushed the gun deeper to the blond's skull sending a chill down his spine, luckily or thankfully she put it down and took Ochaco away along with the girls from the crowd of teens.

"Calm down Ocha-Chan, you can do it I know you can." Izumi said as her entire demeanor changed, "Remember, you're doing this for your parents."

"Midoriya..."

The group of females turned around to see their heterochromia classmate,

"Todoroki, what can I do for you?." Izumi asked, she gestured to the girls to leave and to take Ochaco with them.

"I'm going to beat you." he said with a determined face making the greenette look at him with a confused stare.

"You're All Might's child, his attention will be focused on you, I don't know much about you but I will beat you." He said with a cold stare.

"We'll see Todoroki... Cause I won't hold back either." She said and made her way inside the arena.

The teens in the room could feel the tension thicken that you could cut it with a knife.

"Oh and Todoroki, I'm not the only one you should be worried about."

Later

The audience were hyped, the cheering was almost deafening, Present Mic and Eraserhead were at the Commentators room to get a better view of the show and to announce what's going to happen. "WELCOME TO U.A.'S SPORTS FESTIVAL!!! CAN I GET A YEAAAAAAAAAH!!!." Mic yelled to crank up the energy making the crowd cheer louder. "Settle down Mic." Eraserhead said as he was still engulfed in bandages.

"THEY SAY A HERO IS NOT MEASURED BY HIS OR HER STRENGTH, BUT BY THE STRENGTH OF HIS OR HER HEART!!!." Mic said with great inspiration,

"And today our combatants will show what is the true meaning of being a hero." Aizawa said,

"HE'S ERASERHEAD AND I'M PRESENT MIC!!!." The blond gestured to the camera,

"And it's their job to analyze their weapon, armor, and skill to see who would win the battle." The ravenette finished.

The crowd roared and wave their banners, flags and hands in the air that it was overwhelming to the young heroes in training, "LET'S WELCOME OUR COMPETITORS!!!; THE DEPARTMENT OF HEROICS!!!, FRESH MAN CLASS!!!, CLASS 1A!!!."

"AND FOLLOWING CLASS 1B!!!, HERE COMES CLASSES C,D, AND E FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL EDUCATION, AND NOW THE CLASSES OF F,G AND H OF THE SUPPORT DEPARTMENT, NEXT THE DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT.....". Present continued on as the students made it to the center of the arena.

"Geez, they're treating us like fools or something." a student from the general department growled, "What load of bullshit." another muttered angrily.

Izumi sweatdropped as she recalled the stunt that Kacc-bakugou did, earning a lot of complaints from other classes. And to make it worse as the crowd of teens crowded the entrance, Katsuki started calling them extras and insults making the others riled up.

"NOW NOW, REMEMBER FAIR PLAY." A woman scolded as she waved a whip.

"It's the R18 heroine Midnight!, I didn't know she's the chief referee for the freshmen stage this year!." A male exclaimed,

"But where's the Principal?." Another student asked,

"I think he's overseeing the senior stage." One concluded,

"Wait, is it a good idea for the R18 heroine to be here?, even though this is a high school." a student asked.

"SILENCE!, MY TENURE IS PERFECT ON THE LEVEL!, now for the player representative." Lady Midnight said as she gave the podium to the approaching representative, Katsuki made his way to the stage making the class 1A hold their breath and cross fingers in hopes that the blond hedgehog won't say something stupid.

"I just wanna say, I'm gonna win..."

His classmates facepalmed or sobbed, the other students gave a death glare and the crowd booed.

"LET ME FINISH SHITHEADS!!!, I'll win for Izumi Midoriya!, you may not see it, but I may be a hot headed asshole but she's the only one who see me as a hero, so I'll be the hero she deserves!!!" He roared,

"Was that a declaration of love!?." Midnight gushed, the class sweatdropped, first he was mean and now he's making a love confession???, what's up with him. The class 1A looked at Izumi who was red and was swaying back and forth, "Midoriya!!!." Iida cried as she fainted luckily he caught her in time.

"All right!!!, let's begin the first event, get ready for... The obstacle race!!!." Midnight announced and pointed at the tunnel that let to their demise, I mean victory

The obstacle race is competed with all classes, you have to run around the stadium that was 4 km, you are allowed to use quirks as long as they stay within the race course, the students began to ready their stance to take off, the gates opened, the crowd quiet as they waited in anticipation, Midnight raised her whip in the air...

"START!!!." she yelled with a crack of her whip.

And with that the students took off as the crowd cheered once more... but the heroes and audience weren't the only ones watching.
