Someone Like You (Goku x Sad!Reader)

A/N: The song above kinda is the main plot of the oneshot. Also, there is suicide in the end! you've been warned!

Never mind, I'll find someone like you...

"G-g-goku, I th-thougt you loved me" Y/n said in a shaky voice. After finding out Goku had been seeing ChiChi behind her back secretly, she tried to confront Goku about the situation and stop the cheating so they could happily and peacefully be together. But she was wrong. Really wrong.

"I did. I'm sorry Y/N, but this relation ship Is just boring. I can't bare to stay here any longer with you"

I wish nothing, but the best for you too...

"G-G-gok-goku, please d-d-don't leave, I beg y-you" Y/N said, on the floor, clutching at Goku's legs, sobbing uncontrollably.

Don't forget me, I beg. I'll remember what you said...

"Goodbye Y/N, I'm sorry, but I just don't love you anymore, I've gotten bored of you. And ChiChi makes better food to be honest. Please don't call me or come near me ever again. I don't want you to ruin my happiness, dear" and with that, he left. He left you with a broken heart.

(Time Skip to you at a Grocery Store 10 years later...)

You went to the grocery store, because you've recently ran out of groceries and you needed to buy some for the whole week. But little did you know, Painful memories were about to come across your path. You went to the dairy section (Is that what they call it? I'm 13 and I don't really pay any attention to the sections names. So, I don't really know, lol) and what you found there was extremely shocking.

Was it him? Could that really be him? He does have a child next to him...but he look exactly him!

You know how the time flies...Only yesterday was the time of our lives

immediately, your old love instinct kicked in and you ran up to him. Once infront of him, you spoke up,

"Goku, i-is that really y-you?" you said in a clearly, nervous and shocked voice.

"Um, who are you?" Goku said in a confused tone.

Your best mistake

We were born and raised, in a summer haze

"Y-you don't r-remember me? Goku I'm..." you said, clearly disappointed in him not remembering you. Did he not even "love" you from the start? Was he there just for the food?

Bound by the surprise of our glory days

Goku thought for a thick second. Clearly trying to his best to remember if he's ever seen your face before. "Was she a human he saved before? Was she a old friend? I can't really remember" thoughts like these flooded Goku's innocent brain, which started to give him a headache.

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited, but I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it

"Uhh, what's your name? That could help me remember you" Goku said with that confused and beautiful grin.

"Y/N" you said, hoping he'd remember you at least.

Suddenly, Goku's cute confused grin turned into a shocked, disgusted, hatred expression.

I'd hope you you'd see my face & that should reminded that for me, it isn't over

"I-I thought I told I never wanted to see you again, and to stay away" Goku said, clearly mad and full of hatred.

"G-Goku p-please!" you said trying to talk to him.

"NO Y/N! I PROMISED MYSELF I WOULD NEVER TALK OR SEE YOU EVER AGAIN" Goku yelled, full of hatred and anger. At this point, the whole store was watching the scene, all the customers, workers, etc, even his child, were looking at the two of you.

Nothing compares, no worries, or cares

You felt so many emotions at the moment, regret, sadness, embarrassment, and everyone could see it written all over your face. You left the store, sprinting out the exit after Goku had yelled that, "Fuck the groceries" was the last thing you said in the store before fully leaving and never being seen again.

After the heat cooled down in the store, Goku and his son finished shopping and were heading out to their car when his son asked Goku,

"Daddy, who was she?" his son asked.

"Who? the cashier?" Goku replied.

"No, the lady you were angry at earlier" 

"Oh her? She's just a mistake. Don't worry about her Gohan" Goku said with a cheerful smile.

"Oh, I see, alright dad"

Regrets  and mistakes, they're memories made

You felt tears fall down your cheeks while you were looking at old pictures of you and Goku. And then you tied rope, making sure the grip was tight on the ceiling.

"I love you Goku, and no matter how many times you bring pain to me, I'll love you no matter what"

Who would would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

You then wrap the rope around your throat, successfully having the rope have a tight grip on you. You then closed your eyes and thought about one of the most happiness moments with Goku. And then falling into deep eternal sleep. Now no prince could wake up the sleeping beauty.
