District 12

Some say the we are the 'lame district', too busy digging holes and being hobos. I must admit it sucks. Life in general pretty much sucked. Ever since Katniss got back from the games, she has been trying to convince me that she and Peeta weren't 'Keeta'. But I didn't believe her, I only believe in unicorns.

"Yo waz up BROOO!!!?!" grinned Katniss as she entered my swagalicious house.

"You are no bro of mine" I muttered under my breath.

"Oh my gawd Gale, get over it already"

"Whatevs, we have to go hunting today. Remember?"

"Huh hunting?", katniss said. " I'm rich remember, we ain't need to hunt"

"Katniss what the-"

"SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY GALE!!"

"Katniss, taking money off girls is unswag". I reasoned.

" OMG gale, your so sexist"

"I'm going hunting".

Katniss was quiet for a moment.
"Okay fine I'll come but only because you're swag".

The light was just beginning to stain the sky when Katniss and I climbed through the fence, towards our hunting grounds. I breathed in the cold dry air and shivered. I was surrounded by pine trees and bushes. The plants were usually a vibrant green, but at this time of the year they were a dull watered down colour. Snow layered the ground as I lead the way through the forest. I had the odd suspicion that someone was watching me, but I just assumed it was Katniss trying work out how I was so cool. The was no noise except for the occasional bird and the crunching of the snow beneath our feet. I begun to feel slightly awkward as the silence stretched on.

"Gale?"asked Katniss. Her voice was like thin ice, It could break at any moment.

"Yes? " I replied.

"I do not ship 'Keeta', why won't you just believe me?"

"Oh.... Umm," I sighed. " it's complicated".

Katniss stopped walking and stared at me, waiting for an answer. She wore a grey scarf, a light leather jacket, jeans. And her hunting boots. Her dark brown hair was braided in her usual style.

"Katniss it is a religious thing. I sought of worshiping unicorns and think of then as gods..."I explained.

"Oh... Err.. Sorry..."

" All good Katnip"

I went to go check on the snares, Katniss grabbed her bow from behind some tree and disappeared into the woods. As I did some super swag hardcore parkour through the trees, I saw this real pretty looking pond. I walked over and gazed into the water, it was crystal clear. Most water here in 12 was murky and rarely clean.I stared at my beautiful reflection. I was practically the definition of swag. I watched the ripples dissolve into the edge of the pond. As I gazed I saw the forest, the trees, the snow, the blosso-WTF IS THAT?!.

"PEETA!!!!" I yelled as I whirled around to face the figure behind me.

"AHH, pls don't hurt me, I'm sorry for following you -OMG so so so! sorry Gale,"peeta squealed. I stared at him, he was practically cowering against the tree. Peeta was covered from head to toe in mud, (proberly some form of Peeta's "camouflage") and looked really alarmed to have been spotted.

"Peeta you shouldn't be out here," I said. Peeta was way to softcore to be out in the woods, that kid couldn't throw a punch to save his life.

" I know, I just REALLY needed to know your secrets"said Peeta.

" WHAT! YOU WHA-hang on," I said slowly through gritted teeth, I could feel my anger rising."what did you mean by following me, and knowing my secrets"

"Errrrr...."whimpered peeta "i.....I was sought of....s-stalking you, cause I wanted to know how you are so swag and cool....I thought maybe you had some sought of secret to it.. But now, I know obviously your just a natural".

"YOU DID WHAT !!!!!"I screamed
