FINALLY, THE SHOW IS TONIGHT. OH MY LORD. I AM SO EXCITED. We're practising for the last time now. Everything is going very smooth and flawless. We're all very hyped and active.

My knees are shaking. I'm thinking about Michael's words last night. I keep reminding myself that I deserve this, I deserve this, it's okay, believe in yourself.

"Hey, how're you feeling?"

Linda pokes on my shoulder.

"Over-excited and scared."

"I remember you."

"Well, I do, too."

"But how are you even here?"

Her face expressions changes so noticeably.

"Umm"

"What did you do to be back on here?"

I'm really speechless now.

"Linda, I need to talk to Laura. Would you mind..."

Michael stands beside me and Linda leaves.

"Michael I-"

"I heard it all."

"I'm scared again. Why did she say that to me? I mean, she passed the audition and she's already here but she's bashing me!?"

"Calm down, Laura."

"I can't!"

"The show is in 30 minutes and what do you expect? Run away?"

"Michael, I'm sorry. I-"

He legit pulls me and hugs me so tight. That even hurts me because of his outfit.

"You aren't going to stop here. You need to be here. Remember that it was I who brought you here personally. It wasn't even the production team."

"Michael, let me-"

I push him back because this isn't even the dressing room. It's just somewhere in the backstage and people are walking around.

"Why?"

"People's eyes."

"They're my people. It's fine."

"And Michael?"

"Yes?"

"I'll be in Smooth Criminal no matter what. Do not worry about it. I'll be there. I just... I was annoyed by Linda for a while."

"Are you okay? Are you REALLY okay?"

"I am. Very fine."

"I'll see you soon, okay?"

"Okay."

I'm actually not fine. What he said was right but I feel very insulted by Linda. UGH. I need to focus.

The show has started. Millions of people are screaming and trust me, this's the biggest crowd of people I've ever seen in my life. Michael's doing great as hell and we're all so excited to see him performing.

*sigh* The time has come. Smooth Criminal. Here we go. Michael first did his solo dance part with slow music behind it.

*the iconic intro of Smooth Criminal
starts playing*

"As he came into the window-"

We're so focused yet still jamming to it.

"-it was her doom."

I'm in the spotlight now.

"Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay, Annie?"

I can't be more prouder to have been dancing in this iconic "Annie" part.

As the song goes on, I become more hyped and happy and feel proud. The opportunity I missed, the chance I've always been waiting and this moment I've always been imagining. It's all happening now. I'm very blessed. I can't even use words right now.

After that, my part is done so I join in with the crew who're watching the show. Ahh, it feels so good to watch Michael performing live and right in front me. I almost cry because I'm so happy. Everything's looking like a dream. I sing his songs, scream along with the audience and enjoy the best moment of my life.
