Rayaan's POV

I woke up to the sound of Azaan. When I opened my eyes, I was on one of the sofas in the lounge with Zubair beside me. All of my so called mature cousins were looking very stupid as some of them were sprawl on the floor with cushions and some on the sofas. We were watching movies for most of the night and just were enjoying each other's company. It is kind of a routine for us. The difference this time around is that it will be the last time that we all will be together like this as a new family member will be joining us from now on. I was really happy for Zamid as his bride is a really nice girl.

There are some reasons for me to reject her and most important one is that Zamid likes her. She was one of the seniors in hana's university. Zamid liked her when he first saw her coming out of the university. We were there to pick hana up after her classes and that was when Zeenia came out of the university building. And when the proposal came for me, I just had to reject it for Zamid. Both of them are really happy too.

Last night's adventure was all the proof that we needed to know that Zamid actually love Zeenia and now I am proud of my rejection. It's a relief that Zeenia's family has no grudge for me too. They are a really down to earth family even if they are extremely rich. I genuinely like them.

The other reason to reject this proposal was Hana. I have noticed everything about her. I have seen how she behaves with me and others. I know that there is a great personality behind her shy persona. I have seen her interaction with Zayn and it proves my point that there is more to hana than her outer appearance. Even Zayn jokingly complains that hana is evil and have some shocking tendencies but I know that it is true in one way or another. And I have also noticed that she likes me. Before, I thought it was just childish adoration but now I have seen her affection and her behavior with me. I have become a little more reserved in her company because I did not want to provoke more of her affection. She is a nice girl and it's not like she is trying to seduce me but her feelings are developing. I don't think she even noticed all this but I have.

Hana is the main reason that I rejected it. I would talk to dadi jaan and try to pursue her in giving hana a chance. I know that Dadi jaan don't like her much but she will give it a thought for me. She loves me more than her other grandchildren and I am taking advantage of it but what can I do. This is the only chance that hana can get to get approval of dadi jaan. If dadi jaan accepts her then everyone else will also and that's what matters the most to me. I don't love hana like that but I still care for her a lot as she is the youngest and I have always felt this deep feeling of protection for my younger cousins. Hana being the smallest one, this protective feeling grew a lot. I can't help it and just to make hana happy, I will do anything. Even if it means marrying her!

She is a nice girl and will be a perfect wife. Maybe hana is the reason that I am still not married but I will have to wait and see where it goes. And I know that marriage is a blessing that will definitely bloom the feeling of love in my heart. Nikkah is a really interesting thing. You just unconsciously feel love for your spouse. My Almighty Allah had beautified this relationship with His love and blessings. And I will also feel love for hana after Nikkah but right now, that's not the case. Right now, I just want her happiness.
