Chapter 3

It was okay I was going to be fine I was sitting here with my closest friend my neighbor, Nate. He said his parents had dissapeared as well and that he also had been getting weird phone calls. At least I wasn't alone, he promised that once I had gained my strength we would go looking for our missing parents and talk to the others on the street to see if the same had happened to them.

Once I had my strength I got up and walked to the door clutching to Nate along the way "Its all right Kathy I'm here" he whispered softly into my ear. I nodded and braced myself as he placed his hand on the knob of the door and twisted...

I gasped at what my eyes where seeing outside. I blinked hoping what u saw was a dream but no it wasn't. There were robots walking down the street with our friends walking along whimpering in fear.

Nate and I slowly crept back along the hallway. I felt something on my shoulder that grasped me hard and yanked me away from Nate. It was then that I let out an ear piercing scream. Nate turned around with a look of horror as another robot advanced on us we were going to be taken with the rest of them.

It was then I spotted it the heart of the robot was my iPhone and the one that had taken Nate was his iPhone. I gasped and signaled Nate to the robots and whispered, "there hearts are our phones," he gasped and crept around the robot to have a look. shortly after he came back and nodded to me and signed me I don't know. They took us through the front door and they led us on to the street with everyone else.

As I looked at all of the other robots I realized that they were all iPhones. I quickly searches for my friend Isabella who did not have an iPhone. I couldn't spot her and realized that the only people captured are the ones with an apple product. I even saw a Mac walking around with someone in there hands.

We had been walking for at least an hour before we reached an abandoned factory. We were dragged inside and took in our surroundings, the factory was being worked and u could here muffled screams through the glowing door in front of us. Nate and I resisted being pushed forward and were thrown forwd though the door. what we saw in front of us was a sweat shop all of the people who had been captured were in the shop being whipped when they weren't working.

I was frightened and so I came up with a plan. I was going to hold the power button of my phone. I turned around and quickly did so. To my surprise it worked, my robot slumped and I ran for my life.

Nate quickly caught up with me and we found a corridor that led to the exit of the building. We ran down it and ran away from the robots trailing us.

We ran down the corridor. But before we came to an end we found that there was a drain grid on the escape. Nate and I exchanged worried looks before he bent down and opened the grid easily. We quickly moved out and saw the robots running down the corridor, I locked right as they reached us. We had escaped and we were safe for now.
