I walked around the house for clues, feeling like a ultimate detective. I soon found that the gas was on on the stove and there was a pot of boiling water sitting there, the spaghetti had been spilt on the floor as if my parents had just disappeared.

That night I went to bed with worry swirling around inside of me, I hadn't eaten anything and my stomach was rumbling. After an hour or so  of tossing around I finally forced myself into a restless sleep.

I woke up in the morning and as I sat up the worry came back to my stomach. I agreed with myself that I would eat before taking action on the disappearance of my parents. I sat down and ate my breakfast in a hurry. Before calling the police I had one last check around the house. I hadn't found my parents so proceeded to call the police.

I took out my phone and dialed the police. They picked up on the third ring.

Police: Hello

Me: Hi I was just calling to report the disappearance of my parents yesterday afternoon on Tobor Lane

Police: What were your parents names?

Me: Umm... Pete Lakers and Luna Lakers

Police: Okay I will report this incident immediatly Thank-you for your time

There was a soft crackling noise at the other end of the line then a low mechanical voice. It said "Beware young child we are coming for you." I screamed and threw the phone down on to the hard floor of my own house. I sat down on the floor and started crying, I missed my parents and the world was ending for me. There was no way that school was going to greet me today.

A few minutes later  heard the creak of the front door. I looked up and immediatly became silent, my door was unlocked and there was someone in my house. I slowly crept back into the bathroom and shut the door behind me my hands were shaking causing me to make a loud noise while closing the door I let out a short gasp and did not dare to breathe. I heard quick footsteps approaching my door and soon a soft voice whispered "Kathy is that you?" I gasped revlieved because that was the voice of my neighbour and replied witha soft "Yeah."
