"Hey...why are you calling by this time? Is everything alright with Jane?" I asked as a form of courtesy not really caring about Jane's well being at the time.
I loved Jane. She was my best friend until she outrightly stole Neo from me. Good and fine, Neo and I hadn't confessed what we had for each other but, Jane knew exactly all the drama that conspired between us. I couldn't just forgive it that way, could I?
