10. Annoyed

The next morning, you wakeup to a throbbing headache and immediately make your way towards the kitchen to get yourself some medicine.

"Good morning dearie," both your parents greet you, you greet them back and join them for breakfast. It doesn't take you long to realise that something is up as you question, "Am I im trouble?"

"No! No! But I'm glad you asked," your dad replies,"your mom and I have to go overseas for sometime. Business matters and all."

"I mean you two leave all the time, it's no biggie," you reply not understanding why they seem so worried.

"We are leaving for two weeks," your mom answers your thoughts as she hesitantly adds,"we can get you a babysitter or-"

She is immediately cut off by you,"mom I am 19 years old, I'm pretty sure I can look after myself-"

"But two weeks-"

"Please mom I am an adult-"

"Now, now," your dad's authoritative tone of voice ends the argument between you and your mom,"you will not be staying alone Y/N and that is final."

"Fine," you let out as you make your way towards your bedroom, leaving your half eaten breakfast behind.

As if things couldn't get any worse, you are almost late for your lectures and Elle couldn't help but notice your annoyed state.

"What is it that's bothering you?" Elle questions out of pure concern. You tell her about everything that has been happening, everything from Jungkook being an annoying brat to the argument you had with your parents this morning.

While the two of you are still in the middle of your discussion, Taehyung butts in, "Good heavens, that's just terrible."

You immediately panic, "How much did you you hear?"

"Enough to know that the chances of you getting kidnapped or worse dying, during the next two weeks in very high." He laughs.

You calm down, knowing that he won't be joking around if he heard the first part of the conversation.

"Very helpful indeed. Now you have any real advice?" Elle questions.

"Nice to meet you too, I'm Taehyung by the way. Y/N has told me a lot about you," Taehyung replies with a genuine smile.

"All good things I hope, and nice to finally meet you too. Y/N doesn't shut up about you sometimes either."

"Oh is that so?" Taehyung glances your way, while raising an eyebrow.

"Alright now cut it off," you hit him on the shoulder, "like Elle said, any real advice?"
