y/n pov Shawn surprised me with Maroon 5 tickets. I was so happy that we are going to a concert together. This would be the first time we will both be watching a concert together because usually I'm watching Shawn perform. Shawn knows how I hear Maroon 5 songs on the radio all the time and that they were in town. We were in my hometown at my moms house. It was about 5:00pm when Shawn had shown me the tickets. It didn't matter to me that the section we were in was towards the back. It was really thoughtful of him to do this for me. I couldn't pick a better concert for us to go to together for the first time. What I didn't know was that Shawn had another surprise for me after the concert. When it was over everyone cleared out and we sat there for a little while. Shawn took my hand after about ten minutes of everyone gone. He led me backstage to a room with the band. I was shocked. Speechless. In awe. I hugged Shawn with tears in my eyes mumbling "thank you" "aww baby you don't need to thank me" The band said hello to me and thanked me for listening to their music and that it means a lot to them to have someone from the younger generation who supports them. Adam Levine said goodbye to the band and led us outside. There was a car waiting for us out back. He got in the drivers seat while I sat in the back with Shawn. I asked where we were going and the answer was "it's a surprise." We were in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. Nothing that I recognized. After about 45 minutes we arrived to this cute lit up building.

We all went inside and we had the place to ourselves. There were no fans. It was just a waitress who was about to leave. Of course after she got us anything we wanted from the kitchen for the night. After she left Adam asked me a few questions. It was very sweet and a cozy environment. We had some snacks and baked goods on the table. There was coffee and flavored water which I don't like, so I stick to water. It's funny because when I first went on tour with Shawn, he asked me what I wanted to drink and listed a bunch of things. I said "can I please have water?" after a while of them only seeing me drink plain water the crew questioned me and I had to explain that it's all I drink and how I just simply don't like flavored drinks. It was great getting to talk with Adam and having Shawn by my side. They were so nice to me and we talked about basically everything. From our relationship to everything i've been through in my life. Adam was so caring and said the nicest things. After a few hours we all headed out.
