Bella took me back to her place, once the truck was parked she jumped out and ran towards the door, I followed after.

"Dad!" Bella yelled out as she ran in, "I saw them!"

"What's the matter?"

I finally made my way into the kitchen to see Charlie and Harry.

"In the woods. They're not bears."

"What do you mean "in the woods"?"

I didn't talk, I was still trying to wrap my head around everything. And I was going to get answers.

"Bell, what the hell were you doing out in the woods?"

"They're wolves." I finally spoke up. But my voice seemed so distant as if I didn't believe myself.

Harry walked over to me and pulled me towards the sink, he grabbed a towel, wet it down a little and started to wipe away the blood while Bella and Charlie continued to talk.

"Looks like you won't need stitches, thankfully." Harry said calmly.

I just nodded my head with a lost look in my eyes. Harry sighed.

"One just stared at me..." I said barely above a whisper.

Harry looked at me with soft eyes until Charlie got his attention.

"Well, Harry. Feel like going hunting? Get some of your guys together?"

"Sure, yeah, I'll just..." Harry said as he placed the towel down and walked out of the kitchen.

"I should go to the stations."

"Yeah, you should. You should go."

"Can you just stay in the house? Bailey you're welcome to stay too."

I nodded my head and watch him leave, once the door closed I turned to Bella, "You better start explaining. Now."

Bella looked at me then gulped, but nodded her head.

We sat down at the table and I waited for her to start talking.

Bella took a breath, "The supernatural world exists. Well at least vampires do."

I stared at Bella. Vampires? That would explain a lot but it doesn't seem real.

"And I've met multiple, one put me in the hospital. He was friends at least I think, with the Laurent." Bella continued.

"So you didn't fall out a window. You were attacked and Laurent is a vampire, correct?"

Bella nodded, "But there's different type of vampires."

I raised my eyebrow at her signaling her to continue.

"There's some vampires who chose not to drink human blood. They live off animal blood only. Kinda like vampire vegetarians, it's extremely difficult and it changes the color of their eyes."

"Gold..." I mumble starting to connect all the dots that were basically slapping me in the face.

"So the Cullen's were the "vegetarians" correct? And I'm guessing from Laurent's eyes he was not."

Bella nodded again.

"Why date a vampire?" I asked more to myself then Bella.

"What about the wolf's." I asked more interested in them.

"I-I... I don't know. I've never seen them before. What about you? What did you do to Laurent?"

I looked down at my hands, deep in thought, "It's happened twice now and I have no clue why. I'm not sure what the hell I even do."

I sighed, "I really need some sleep. This day has been too much."

"I'll drive you home, you are taking all of this really well."

"Trust me. I'm not."
