I stood by my locker for the last five minutes. Watching him talk to his two best friends which includes my cousin, Seth.
"Come on Alexandria it's just for thirty days." I repeatedly told myself.
Arghhh, here goes nothing.
I walked up to the trio but mostly it was for him.
I looked up to Seth giving me a concerned look. I glared at him indicating that I can handle it and not to step in to whatever plans that I have.
"Sebastian Nikos Perez, please be mine for thirty days." I said breathlessly. He had always had this effect on me since we were in high school, kinder garden included.
He gave me a look of confusion.
"What?! Are you mad woman?" He exclaimed.
"Seth, is there something wrong with you cousin?" He turned looking at Seth.
"The reckless thing she does would always have a reason." Seth pointed out, lazily giving me a look that I was very familiar with. A look I have always been living with.
"I don't date Alexandria, you of all people should know that. I would just break your heart." Nikos explained.
"To have my heart broken by you would be a privilege to me." I smiled remembering a quote from the fault in our stars.
"Alexandria, don't go all Augustus Waters with me because it's not going to work." He said walking away.
Seth and Nikos other best pal, Marco gave me a knowing look.
"It's alright cuz, he'll come around." Seth regarded and both of them walk off with Nikos.
Rolling my eyes. Well time for plan B.
Force the shit out of him.
The next day went by fast enough for me to realise.
Sighing I got off my bed. Getting ready for the weekend.
When I went down the staircase I could hear Nikos feign laughter echoing the living room from the dining room.
I went in ignoring the presence of Nikos. I could feel his stare following my every movement. I took a box of cereal from a top shelf, well looking at my five ft four height I would not even be able to reach it.
A presence of a person was behind me reaching the box of cereal that I was trying to reach a minute ago.
"Here" Nikos said handing me my cereal.
I muttered a thank you
I walked to the counter table and prepared my bowl and spoon.
"Fine. I'll do it, my affections for you never faded away ever since we were both at our toddler age." He confessed.
Blushing at his sudden confession I turned to face him. A smile crept to my face.
"That took you long enough, I was going to start my plan B which was kidnapped you and keep you for thirty days"
