Leaving

Lisanna had just come back from Edolas. And now the whole guild was celebrating. Everyone missed her. Except Lucy, Juvia, and Wendy, they hadn't known her since they came after she disappeared to Edolas. Lucy wasn't the type to party hard. So she did as she usually did at parties and sat down at the bar. Natsu and Gray were fighting like always. Erza scares them into being all 'Buddy Buddy' again. Soon the party had gotten really crazy, chairs and tables being thrown, Erza going ballistic cause Elfman Stepped on her favorite, strawberry cake. Lucy decided it was best for her to leave now before getting a serious concussion. She went home to her apartment, she took a shower. She figured that Natsu wouldn't sneak in in the morning since he was drinking and fighting, he would probably be still sleeping. The guild would be a total mess. Lucy smiles at the thought of how Natsu could cause the whole guild to look like a tornado hit the inside and left everything else around it alone.

The next morning

Lucy opened the door. " Ohayo Minna! " She exclaims cheerfully like always. Some of them glared at her, and others payed her no mind at all. Lucy thought that their behavior was very weird but didn't think to much of it. Soon she made her way over to a table where Juvia, Levy, And Wendy were sitting at. " Ohayo! " She said cheerfully again. The girls smiled at her and Juvia patted the part of the bench next to her, indicating for Lucy to sit there. " Hey guys, is it just me or is the guild acting weird today? " She asked. They shrugged. " Well, you were kinda loud, maybe that made their heads hurt more cause they probably have a hangover " Wendy suggests. Lucy decided that that was a good reason for everyone to be mad. I mean, she would be mad if she had a hangover and someone just comes through the door and started to yell. She went over to the bar where Mira was. " Good morning " She said. Mira smiled at the blonde mage. " Can I have a strawberry smoothie today? " She asked. " Whipped cream and a strawberry on top? " Mira asked which made Lucy eyes light up as she thought about how delicious that would be. " Yes please " She sang in a happy voice. This made Mira laugh. She always found it so wonderful how Lucy was so cheerful all the time. It brought a smile to her face. Mira went to make Lucy's smoothie when lisanna came up to sit next to her.
" Hey Lucy " She said with a smile. Lucy returned the smile and waved back at her. Gray walked up to lisanna. " Lisanna- " But he cut himself off when he noticed that Lucy was standing right there. He gave her a disgusted face that turned into a smile when he turns back to lisanna.
" Actually I'll tell you later " He said then walked away. Lucy was confused at his actions, but lisanna grinned at them. Her plan was working. You see, all night Natsu and gray were talking about what a good friend Lucy is and how caring she is and how lisanna will love her. Natsu, the person that both girls like, kept trying to go and talk to Lucy. This made lisanna angry so she kept him away from her. Lisanna was so jealous of Lucy and how much Natsu spoke of her. Lisanna spread some rumors about Lucy and made everyone think of Lucy in a bad way. If how she just wants to show off her body and how she is so weak and that she always just hides behind her spirits and never fighting her own battles. Soon Mira came with her smoothie. " Here you go " She said with a smile. " Thank you Mira " She said then walked back to the table with her other friends. The girls were talking while Lucy drank her smoothie. When she finished she returns the glass to Mira and then goes up to the request board. She was going to see if there were any jobs that Natsu would like. Usually he likes to fight and sometimes show off his powers to gray so he could show him how much better he was. She scanned the board and she found one. It was to protect someone from these high ranked thieves. She got it off the board but someone snatched it away from her. " Try doing something that is actually easy, then maybe you could do it instead of your spirits " They said. Lucy pouted at what they just said. " I don't hide behind my spirits " She muttered angrily. She found a different job and held it close to her so no one could snatch it away from her. She scanned the room and her face lit up with excitement when she found her salmon haired friend. She ran up to him. " Hey Natsu, wanna go on this job with me, it's not even that hard and it pays well, it's just to help this man build some sort of spa " She said cheerfully. " No, I can't do anything with a weakling like you " He said. Lucy smile faded as she heard this words. Her heart broke into pieces. " What? " She asked, holding back the tears. " Your so weak, your kicked off of team Natsu, your being replaced by lisanna " He said. Lisanna soon came up with a grin on her face. " That's right, fairy tail doesn't need weak idiots like you " She said. Lucy looked at the two in disbelief. She turned around and went to masters office. She lightly knocked on his door. She heard a 'come in' and she did so. " Master I wanna leave " She said with her voice cracking. She was now crying. " May I ask why? " He said getting out of his chair. " I don't feel at home here anymore, I wanna go somewhere with people who won't trade me in for another " Lucy said. Maker of let out a small sigh. He held his hand over Lucy's and a light shown over it. When the light dimmed to nothing, her guild mark was gone. Lucy cried at the memory of when she first came here and got her guild mark. The memories of team Natsu. She ran out the guild doors crying. She ran to her apartment. She packed her things.
She summoned Virgo to hide her things in the celestial world. Then she made her way into the forest. She ended up crying, leaning on a tree.
" Tell me, why are you crying? " Someone asked. Lucy looked up at them. " I was kicked off my team " She said. " Well, I shall take care of you then " He said with a smile. Lucy gave him a weak smile and agreed to go with him. She had no where else to go anyways.
