Thank you so much for the comments, adding my story, and just for the general support I guess. It makes me so happy as an author on this godforsaken, story-sharing platform. Since it's 2019, I thought I'd see if my writing skills deteriorated, so without further ado...I present to you....my

"Goodbye"

It was 8am when you awoke to the sound of birds serenading their future mates and dancing around in the skies. You opened your eyes gently to see the sun peering through at you from the curtains of the room. Ja'far's room. Lying next to you, was a pale boy with freckles that sat gently on his cheeks, and the most peaceful resting expression. You rested your chin on your left hand, and smiled to yourself as you listened to his quiet breaths.

"Mmnn..."
He grimaced at the sun piercing his eyes in an instant, rubbing them for recovery.

"Good morning, Ja'far" you said, blushing slightly, recalling the incident that lead to the both of you being half naked in Ja'far's bed.

"...Good morning (y/n)"
He paused before answering due to shock, but quickly responded with a soft smile, followed by a yawn.

"W-What should we do today?" You asked, smiling, heavily flustered about the fact that you were no longer a Virgin, but your attempt to keep your embarrassment from showing, was seen through almost immediately (Fucking exposed, bitch).

"So...about last night" he clears his throat before continuing "Was that your first time...?"

"I- umm...yeah"
You respond with a mumble just barely loud enough to hear...

"Mine too. And frankly, I'm glad it was with you." He said, smiling elegantly. It was as if the light peering through the curtains was no match for the brilliance of his smile. Your heart skipped a beat.

"Yeah, me too" you smiled, and put a clenched fist to your chest to calm your heart.

"About your question-" (this boy never misses the opportunity to answer questions I S2G)

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I was only asking to break the ice, but if you have something you want to do today that's fine with me" you said with a blank expression.

"Why don't we see a sunset together?" He asked.

"That would be wonderful" you replied.

After finishing all of your individual responsibilities, you had finally been ready to meet with your beloved, and watch the sunset. Hurrying out to the grassy hill (on which you'd both agreed to meet), your face lit up with excitement. It was going to be your very first-

"DATE!!!" You said as soon as you spotted Ja'far and jump-tackled him at first sight.

"AAHH!" He fell to the ground and not long after, he looked at you with a slightly irritated, but content expression.
"You could've just given me a hug like a normal, and civilized human being...but I guess you're not really normal now that I think about it. I guess that's what I like about you" he said, smiling playfully.

"HUH-WH- I FEEL ATTACKED!!!"
You yelled, playing along with his teasing. The both of you locked eyes with serious expressions, and immediately started laughing.

"A-look! The sun is going down!"
He said, noticing that the sky began to darken, revealing an orange to pink gradient.

"Yeah, no shit" you said laughing, "it's beautiful..."

"Not as beautiful as-" you cut him off by pinching his cheek.

"We aren't going to be 'that' couple" you said, comically. In truth, you were too embarrassed to here any of those generic one-liners from someone that makes your heart race with a mere smile.

"(Y/N)...thanks for coming to see this with me. I'm so glad I met you, and I'm even more delighted to be in a relationship with you." As he spoke, he fidgeted nervously, trying to keep his composure. It's embarrassing to say something so serious.

'I was worried for nothing, he's just as embarrassed as I am', you thought.

"Yeah, thanks for inviting me. I'm glad I met you, Ja'far..." you grabbed his hand with both of yours and cupped it gently, "I love you" you said smiling, before leaning in and kissing him softly on the lips.

"..." At a loss for words and his face almost entirely flushed, he smiled, and embraced you with his big, warm arms.
"I love you too" he whispered into your ear.
