“Please lay on your stomach,” the medical droid said gesturing to the bed it was standing next to.
Silent did as she was told and rested her chin on the back of her hand. Anakin pulled a chair up next to her and just stared at her softly.
“Do you need something master?” She asked the wall.
“I just wanted to make sure you were ok,” he said to the floor.
“This isn’t the first time one of those blasted droids-AOW-has shot my wings,” she said
Anakin noticed that she had a scar identical to his over her right eye. His hand felt his own scar.
“AOW!” she said.
Her gaze drifted to his eyes but when she saw where his eyes were she rested her right cheek on her hand.
“Master?”
“Yes?”
“Tell me how you got yours,,” she said.
“Later,” he promised.
“Sir?” Cody asked entering the medical room. “We’re making the jump to lightspeed.”
“Thanks Cody,” he said “How’s Rex?”
“Still walking,” Rex said entering the medical room
“Rex!” he cried looking at him with a huge smile “Good to see you alive.”
“Glad to be alive sir.”
Cody left.
“What happened?”
“Clankers. They caught us off guard on top of the buildings. Sorry Silent,” He said looking at her.
“It’s ok,”Silent said looking at them.
“Madam, I advise you to not fly for a few days.” the doctor-droid interrupted.
“Thank-you doctor,” she said.
“Anakin we need you on the bridge,” Obi- Wan said through the conlink.
“I’m on my way,”He sighed “Come on Rex let’s go see what Obi-Wan had in store for us.”
They left and Silent dozed off.
