Your dad rolled his eyes at you. His employee bowed to you and your father and left the room.
"What is wrong with you?" Your dad asked annoyed, "Do you not have any manners?"
"What did you need father?"
You dad scoffed, "I needed to talk to you."
"About?"
"The family business."
"Go on."
"Our company is working on combining another powerful company with ours," your dad said, "and to do that I need you."
"What do I have to do with this?"
"Our company has decided to sign a contract," he said trying to beat around the bush.
"Get to the point, father."
"It's a marriage contract, Y/n."
"I am not getting married!" You said, your voice getting louder.
"This is the best move for our company at the moment ," your dad explained, "This will benefit all of us, Y/n."
"How?!"
"With our companies combined, imagine the money we'd make! The power we'd have!" He said.
"Is all you care about money and power?"
"I'm a businessman, Y/n," he said, "You are my only child and you're going to inherit this company when I go. Don't you want to be the CEO of one of the country's strongest programming companies?."
"What if I don't want to run your company?"
Your dad slammed his fists on his desk startling you, "You don't have a choice!"
"What gives you the right to decide these things?!"
"That doesn't matter right now!" You father's voice boomed.
You sunk in your chair as your father hovered over you, "The contract has been signed. You're going to meet your fiancé soon so practice your manners."
