*Dahlia*
I am sitting on the porch as a taxi drives up. Finally I am almost totally back to normal, only getting short episodes of nausea and almost not throwing up any longer. I smile when I see Maddie step out of the cap.

"Maddie, welcome". I run down to hug her tightly, laughing happily. It is so good to see her and so good to finally have company.

She smiles and look at my stomach. "Are you sure you should run around like that in Your condition ?"

"I am pregnant, not sick.. Well not any longer. So I have to enjoy being able to move before I get to fat to do it". I wink at her.

She pay the driver as he hands her the suitcase. "As long as you don't strain yourself. Zac wants you and the baby healthy when he returns. By the way coming home, missing you and the baby was just about all he talked about. He misses you so badly".

"I miss him too". I say, knowing that a soft sad smile slips over my lips. "Well luckily there is only a couple of weeks left. Come on in, Let's have a cup of tea and talk".

We walk inside and I hear the padding of soft paws. "I know you are not to fond of dogs Maddie, but Molly is the sweetest, so don't be scared".

"Don't worry I have a little fluffy friend sleeping next to me every night". She say smiling.

"You know it's not nice to talk about Tom like that, even though he could use a trimming". I say, making her break down in giggles.

She shakes her head. "Oh no I like my man scruffy and curly, so no trimming".

Molly comes around the corner and stop when she sees a stranger. "Molly this is Maddie. Maddie this is Zac's spoiled little girl Molly".

"Oh she is precious". Maddie say softly, then she squats down, holding her hand out. "Hi Molly, ain't you a cutie pie".

Molly comes over, sniffing Maddie's hand, then she nudge her hand and Maddie giggles, scratching her behind the ear.

"You have a friend for life now". I say grinning.

"Well I don't mind a friend like that". She smiles as she gets back up. "You know what ? Her and Bobby would have the cutest puppies ever.. I mean when she is old enough".

I almost choke on my own spit. "Sorry". I splutter. "But I just imagined Zac's face at the mention of his precious girl here having s..e..x".

"I can imagine". She starts laughing too and soon Molly just sits there, looking at us like we are crazy.

*Maddie*
"So what was it you wanted to show me outside ?" I ask walking into the kitchen, after having unpacking in the guestroom.

Dahlia smiles and walks towards the door. "Come on, I'd rather show you".

I follow her outside, wondering what it can be. She told me that she has bought a present for Zac that she wanted to show me.

"Hi girl". Dahlia say, rubbing the beautiful golden horse Zac had given her as a wedding present between the eyes. Then she whistles. "Jack, were are you boy ?"

The earth literally starts shaking, and a horse calls out as the sound of galloping hooves get closer, making me wonder if it is a horse or an elephant. Then a huge black horse comes around the corner, making a sliding stop, that makes me take a step back.

"There you are boy". Dahlia say softly and the horse lowers it big head, resting it against her chest, as she rubs it behind the ears.

"Damn he is huge, how tall is he ?" I stare at the horse, he has a white stripe down his head and white on his legs.

Dahlia smiles. "He is 187 cm and weighs almost a ton, so yeah he is big, but so is Zac, he needs a horse that can carry him".

"Well yeah you are right. But he is very beautiful". I say looking at the horse. It has really friendly eyes. "And Zac knows nothing about him ?"

"Nope, I wanted him to be a surprise. You'll think Zac will like him ?" She looks at me.

I nod. "He wants a horse, we know that, and this one is beautiful, the right size and seems nice, so what is there not to like ?"

"So what do you say we go for a ride ? Just a very relaxed one". Her eyes are shining happily as she looks at me.

"Dahlia are you telling me you have been riding, does Zac know that ?" I look at her. Not sure what to think. I mean she is very experienced and knows horses, so she is probably able to say if it is safe.

She makes the most innocent face and shrug. "What Zac doesn't know.. won't get me in trouble".

"Oh Dahlia, I trust that you know what you are doing, but when Zac finds out.. well you are in for a spanking my dear". I say giggling.

"Oh he wouldn't dare". She say grinning, but I am actually not so sure. I mean I know how Tom would react if it was me. I wouldn't dare go there.

I look at the horses, I have ridden a horse, but I am not an expert. "Don't tell me that you want me up on that giant ?"

"No you can take Honey, she is really easy and if anything goes wrong she responds to my voice". She say smiling. "Come lets change into some jeans".

*Dahlia*
"Jack, steps". I say softly and the horse step over to the mounting steps I have had built. It lets me get off without bumping the stomach to much. It is also better for the horses backs when we mount. I slide down and pad him. "Good boy".

"I got to give it to you Dahlia, I have never seen horses this well behaved". Maddie say, sliding down from Honey.

The ride has gone well, just as expected and I think Maddie actually enjoyed herself, even if she was a bit nervous for me in the beginning.

I smile. "Thank you, they are both really easy to work with".

"And sweet, but promise me to be careful if you will keep riding.. make sure to call someone before you go out and again after, like me for instance.. and if it takes to long I will send help, so are you warned". Maddie say, taking the tack of honey.

"Okay". I sigh. "I promise to do that, if it makes you feel better".
