The year is 2023 and technology has been advanced to where people are being born with special powers. When a baby is born a sample of their blood is taken and and put in a machine. Then it is analyzed and the machine will tell them if the baby will have powers and what powers it could have. If the baby does have powers the baby is taken away from the parent and put in a special facility to grow up and harness it's power. The baby will grow into an adult in the facility until it is the age of 18 then they're allowed to live their life freely. If they don't learn their how to control their powers correctly by the age of 18 they are kicked out of the facility and get all memories of their life at the facility erased including all memories of their power.
There are 5 different types of powers they can inherit, so far, and they are able to learn multiple powers, but are only allowed one. Invisibility, Super strength, Flying, Super speed, and Telekinesis, which is the rarest.
