With the sun high up in the sky, Jack and company scout out the main building to see if they can pinpoint the strange presences that he and Yukina had detected earlier. Jack splits off on his own to see if he can find out for himself, and eventually he senses something coming from a classroom. He knocks on the door, and the teacher opens it, wondering what's going on.
"Fujino-sensei." Jack says.
"Please, just call me Saori for now. What's going on?" Saori asks. Jack's red eye picks out one of the students that's emitting a strange aura and then he looks at Saori.
"Would you mind if I pull this young lady aside?" He asks, pointing to said girl.
"Oh you mean Nanako?" Saori asks. "Sure. Nanako!"
"Coming!" The girl now known as Nanako replies. She has short brown hair with a strange hairclip and purple eyes, and Jack quickly pulls her off to the side. "What's going on?"
"Well, I'm part of a demon hunting group, and I sensed something off at the academy." Jack explains. "I'm detecting an odd aura coming off of you."
"Really?" Nanako asks, confused at what's going on as Jack pulls out his communicator.
"Guys, I've found the source of the demonic presence, I think. Come to the second year hallway, you'll find me there." Jack says as Shinobu and company join him. Everyone heads onto the roof as Nanako still seems to have no idea what's going on, and Maya looks at Nanako with a strange look on her face.
"I'm detecting a demonic aura alright, but it seems... Off almost." Maya says. "It's almost like it's being held back by something."
"Can I head back to my class now? Minehiro is probably getting worried now." Nanako says.
"Who's Minehiro?" Jack asks.
"My boyfriend." Nanako replies.
"Well, this whole demonic aura thing is a serious matter, otherwise we would not be here." Shinobu says.
"Oh, I'm detecting the source of containment!" Maya says, looking at Nanako's hairclip. "That's what's holding the power back." Once Shinobu confirms this she looks at Nanako fiercely.
"I'm sorry Nanako, but you can not continue to be at this academy. You have a dark aura that has already affected one of the teachers." Shinobu says. "You'll have to leave."
"And be separated from my boyfriend?" Nanako asks, starting to get angry.
"Shinobu-chan, you might wanna get back..." Maya says worriedly, sensing something off with Nanako.
"I'd rather die than leave Minehiro all alone." Nanako snarls. "But I'd rather not leave him alone either way, so I'll deal with you instead!" She shouts as she takes off the hairclip and punches the ground! Her uniform suddenly turns black as her socks shorten down to her ankles and turn a similar color, and she begins to transform into a demon as black horns grow out of the sides of her head, and the all too familiar wings and tail form as well! Finally, the transformation finishes when her hair turns a flaming hot pink and her eyes turn red. "I'm going to whoop every single one of your asses if I have to!"
"Guys be careful! I'm sensing something really strong!" Kurona calls out. "It's... It's comparable to a demon OVERLORD!!!"
"What do you have against a demon like ME?!" Nanako shouts as she takes to the skies and forms her demon spear. As opposed to Kurona's trident, Nanako's almost resembles a three prong fishing spear, and a strange purple energy emanates from the middle of the prongs. "Prepare yourself!" She shouts as she fires off blasts of dark energy like a shotgun!
"Incoming!" Jack shouts as everyone dodges the dark energy blasts!
"It's no use trying to go against me!" Nanako laughs as Maya attempts to throw her origami shurikens. The demon simply burns them to a crisp, aims her spear, and then dives right at Maya!
"MAYA-CHAN! LOOK OUT!!!" Shinobu screams as she pushes her little sister out of the way, just in time to avoid getting shish-kabobed by Nanako; Instead, a huge blast of dark energy sends Jack and Yukina flying!
"GAH!" Jack and Yukina scream as they slam against the fences guarding the roof and fall to the ground!
"Eat this!" Nanako shouts as she fires off her shotgun blasts again, hitting Maya and Shinobu hard! Kurona is the last person still conscious, but she doesn't last long as Nanako lands on the ground and engages Kurona in close combat!
"Have a taste of my spear!" Nanako shouts as she stabs Kurona in the leg!
"ARGH!!! OH HELL THAT HURTS!!!" Kurona screams as Nanako yanks out her spear before smashing Kurona's head in, knocking out the ex-demon. Jack and Yukina get back on their feet and look at Nanako with murder in their eyes!
"I dare you to hurt our friends again!" Yukina yells as she charges at Nanako, claws at the ready! Nanako easily blocks all of Yukina's slashes before planting her spear in the ground and sending Yukina flying into Jack with a double kick! Nanako fires off more shotgun blasts that the couple just barely avoid before she charges, slamming her knee into Jack's groin and driving her elbow into Yukina's chest, stunning the both of them. Two shotgun blasts at point blank are all that it takes to knock out Jack and Yukina, and Nanako puts the hairclip back in her hair, reverting to her human form.
"That should take care of you. I don't want you messing with me, or Minehiro, ever again." Nanako chuckles evilly as she leaves the group laying there, unconscious. Another girl heads up to the roof, looking at Nanako with an odd look on her face.
"Chiru?" Nanako asks. Chiru in question has white hair that's tied into twin ponytails and secured with two odd hairties and yellow eyes.
"Who were these guys?" Chiru asks.
"They tried to separate me from Minehiro because I'm part demon." Nanako replies. "Be on the lookout for them. They may try to separate you too."
"I won't let that happen." Chiru replies as the two leave.
