Chapter two.

'Meet me here after school' Cole said,waving at me then walking off inside the school.It was only my second day here and I was already not looking forward.

I walked inside and walked to my locker,getting the books I needed out.
'Hey!' I turned around to see Melody smiling brightly at me 'Do you wanna hang with me at lunch? It's only me and my other friend Sky' she offered,still smiling brightly.
'Sure!I kinda need some friends right now as I have non' I replied giggling.
The bell suddenly rung,making us jump slightly 'Well I better go,meet you in the cafe at lunch' she waved and walked off down the hallways.

'U-Um excuse me...Are you Lyla?' A quiet voices asked behind me.
'Yup,that's me' I replied turning around to face the person.
'Okay,well um I'm the boy you helped up yesterday...And I uh wanted to say thank you' He said, a small smile appearing on his face.
'Oh it's no problem.If Ethan ever does anything again you can come find me' I said smiling.
'Thank you...Oh um I'm Harry by the way' he held his hand out for me to shake.
'I'm Lyla,as you already know' I said shaking his hand 'Well I better go,bye!'

I walked off down the hallways,the sound of my feet hitting the ground echoed around the empty hallways.

-At Lunch-

'Hey girlies' a girl said approaching the table.
'Hey' me and Melody said in unison.
'Hey Lyla, I'm Sky' she said smiling brightly.I returned the smile and we all immediately started to gossip.

My eyes wondered off as I looked around the cafe,and one boy in particular caught my eye.Ethan.His dark brown hair fell just above his eyes and his jawline could cut your finger off.He was laughing with his friends and joking about.I didn't notice I was staring until Sky lightly punched my arm.

'Earth to Lyla are you there?' She asked laughing 'Ah,you were staring at mr dreamy boy'
'Mhmm' I hummed giggling.
'Lemme tell you something girly,do not,and I mean do not, fall for him.He uses girls for pleasure and then ditches them the day after.He's the worse.He is heartless,he has no heart what's so ever.He's cold as ice.You do not wanna end up being one of his toys,trust me' She said sternly not taking her eyes off me for once second.
'Gosh,he sounds bad' I said looking over to him for a quick second,which fyi I regret, he saw me looking at him and gave the dirtiest look ever.I wanted to kill myself there and then.No lie.I rolled my eyes at him and turned around to face my friends again.

'So, are we all doing cheer tryouts?' Melody asked us excitedly.
'Of course!' Sky said jumping up and down like a 6 year old.
'What about you Ly?'
'Nope,I don't have a kit and it's not so much my thing' I said.In my old school I was hella popular for doing cheer,but I want to keep my low down here and just do 0 sports.
'Oh come on!I have a spare kit!It will be fun!' Sky begged.
I caved in and sighed,laughing slightly 'Alright alright'

I decided to text Cole and tell him he won't need to wait for me.

I turned my phone off and walked with Sky and Melody to the lockers.I hope I make the team.
