'Why am I so sore right there?'
Pulling her blankets away, Emma looks down lowering her pyjama pants down to see a bright red circle on her thigh, just where she had injected herself the night before.
'Shit! I hope its not infected or something'
Emma continue to rub the area which seem to help, with a sigh she gets out of bed and makes her way to the bathroom where a long shower awaits her.
The shower was seems be what the doctor had ordered for the burning had diminished however the red rash hadn't. Now dressed for school, Emma walks into the kitchen where her father was sitting, reading the newspaper and finishing off his coffee.
"Morning dad, where's mum?" Emma asks notching her briefcase was gone.
"Had too leave early for work, she given you some money for lunch today!" her father states, Emma just nods hoping that her little deed last night goes unnoticed. Opening the fridge door, Emma scans the content inside before grabbing all the vegetables inside. With Emma grabbing a large bowl she beings to make herself a salad which her father catching what she was doing only on the corner of his eyes.
"You're not going to be put any salad dressing on that?" her father asks as Emma sits down at the table to start eating.
"No why?" Emma asks with a mouth full of her salad.
Her father looks seeing how large to bowl was and his daughter just eating away.
"New diet or just hungry?"
"Just felt like having a salad dad, no need to cause an alarm!" Emma states in between bites for her breakfast, even she was telling her father to calm down on what she was eating, Emma herself was a little bit off by it too. True she would eat a salad however she would put blasphemy amount of salad dressing just for the flavouring and have a normal size bowl, yet here she was with a huge bowl, no dressing and just wanted to eat the whole thing.
'Am I this hungry?'
"Well just don't over eat, you don't want a stomach ache!"
"Thanks dad!"
Finishing her breakfast, her father drops Emma off at school before going to work as Emma prepares for Friday classes. The day went as it normal would, with classes, teachers telling off students, the same things just on a different day. However as the day went, Emma just felt off. Every time she sat down on a chair she constantly fidget seeming to be unable to find a comfortable position to sit. Soon the day was coming to a close and Emma was relieved as she could see how much the serum had worked. Walking out to the running track with her hair tied back, wearing a sports bra, shorts and running shoes.
"Do we really need to do this?" Rachel asks waiting at the track for her friend.
"Of course I need to train ever day," Emma states giving her legs a stretch, as she gets to a ready position. "When ever you're ready!"
"One... two... three... GO!"
Emma shot off, catching herself off guard to how fast she was going, her legs felt so much stronger then before, she kept on going, a smile appearing on her face as she had no idea the serum had improve her so much in such a short period of time. Coming up to Rachel in no time, Emma flew pass her only stopping a few meters down the track.
"Well?" Emma asks still full of energy as she jumps up and down on the spot, Rachel's eyes were wide, her mouth a gape as she looks at the stopwatch.
